Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Poplar Bluff

Long drive, stopped to eat. Ordered more than $30 of food. Place was busy. My mistake, I guess. They royally messed up the order, and I didn't know until I got all the way home. Husband's bacon cheeseburger toaster was neither bacon, nor toasted. Son was missing the chili cheese Coney from his kids meal, had no toy, and his chili cheese fries had about a teaspoon of chili. Tried to call, no answer. Go back up there. They already knew about the Coney they left out. Wouldn't do anything about husband's sandwich because I didn't snatch it from him, leave him sitting at home hungry, and bring it back with me. Wouldn't do anything about my son's fries or toy, also because I didn't bring back what little food he had to eat and give it to them as proof. If I want to get the correct order, I I'll suppose I'll have to go to the better Sonic...

I ordered a 3 piece chicken strip dinner and a Large Tea along with what ever my mom ordered! Our total was around$20. My box had 9 tater tots, 3 one inch pieces of over cooked burnt chicken strips that were so hard I couldn't eat them! No toast and no onion ring. When I asked them to fix my order they told me that's how the chicken strip dinner is... (I have eaten it on several occasions and locations to know otherwise) they did bring me an onion ring....drenched in grease and had a long brown hair wrapped around it! The carhop that delivered it was the only good part of the experience. They couldn't hear me over the speaker to order. They either forgot my order or burnt it and didn't put more on until I called in and asked why it was taking so long. When they brought the order out it was wrong. When they went back in to fix it, it took then another 10 minutes to fix me a shake and adjust my ticket to reflect the higher cost of the product I ordered. After being there for almost an hour I finally got what I went there for..... 4 corn dogs, x large soda, and a large shake. This was at the South location in the Bluff.
