The old Depot is full of artifacts and documents from the days when the rail was the way to go; there is also a rail car outside you can climb the steps and walk through. They have a room dedicated to model trains that they are currently expanding; there also is a small gift shop which has a lot of model train items. The museum does not charge an admission (parking is also complimentary) but you can leave a donation.
The staff- all three gentlemen were very nice, very knowledgeable, and I could have spent the whole afternoon chatting with any of them. They have all traveled the country and love to hear where you're from and what you've experienced in your travels.
