What a wonderful find! Bring your train loving family here. The lovely people that run the museum are full of information. They can give detailed tours or just a quick blurb. They know the history of all the trains that came to the area and pretty much the history of the area itself. The museum is small and is run on donations. You do get to go inside a caboose!

Well done displays of local train history, library, model train displays and a hobby shop inside. Outside two cabooses and a baggage car. For an all donation museum its well done and worth the look

The old Depot is full of artifacts and documents from the days when the rail was the way to go; there is also a rail car outside you can climb the steps and walk through. They have a room dedicated to model trains that they are currently expanding; there also is a small gift shop which has a lot of model train items. The museum does not charge an admission (parking is also complimentary) but you can leave a donation.

The staff- all three gentlemen were very nice, very knowledgeable, and I could have spent the whole afternoon chatting with any of them. They have all traveled the country and love to hear where you're from and what you've experienced in your travels.

All in all...
