Tios Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Poplar Bluff

Tips was fantastic, my boyfriend and our son came in for a late lunch. Wasn't very busy and the waitress was very kind, and loved talking and playing with our son. We ordered the spinach dip. The chorizoqueso, and the top shelf guacamole. All three were fantastic. The chorizoqueso wasn't like the type I'm use to. It wasn't your typical melted liquid cheese with chorizo in a bowl. It came out on a skillet like they'd bring fajitas out with, with real queso melted underneath. The spinach dip was super melty, flavorful and came with a good portion. And we demolished the guacamole. And their house salsa was on point. Perfect amount of cilantro and spice not too runny, but not super chunky. And they gave us a pretty healthy amount of chips to start. The food came out pretty quickly.

My boyfriend got one of the seafood dishes, all the seafood was cooked perfect. The scallops were tender and buttery. The mahi was cooked delicately, the shrimp was flavorful and cooked soft and bouncy. The only complaining I'd have on his dish was the veggie meledy was a little too over done. And the potatoes were cooked good but waaayyy to salty. And I like a lot of salt on my food.

I got the cheese stuffed bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp. I got extra rice and glad I did bc they're rice was cooked nice, it wasn't mushy , it was al debate. And we'll seasoned. Now , don't get me wrong this dish tasted great! And my boyfriend was crazy over it. I am not a fan of non crispy bacon and where it was wrapped around the shrimp just wasn't my cup of tea. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't have a bacon preference and just loves bacon lol. I got a regular Margarita, my usual... With extra lime and extra salt.... I didn't get my extra lime they garnished it with an orange slice and lime slice. But I wasn't mad the drink itself made up for it.

I got my son a corn dog and french fries and he enjoyed it. Very very good place and highly recommend it. Good prices even with all we got the price...

Horrible service for the second time today! The waiters and waitresses are not very good at their job! It's like they just don't know what to do! No common sense! Had to ask for menu's and silverware and refills. Management had very poor people skills. My food was great until I found a hair in it. My kids were very unhappy with whole experience. And I even gave the waitress a good tip and she gave it back to me after I addressed the issue with poor training to the workers. They acted like I was an idiot and could care less what I had to say. I was trying to be civil. They didn't apologize. They just didn't charge me for my food that had the hair in it.....poor people skills and customer service. Several people in my church even has said it's been not good for them either.....to the MANAGER: you need to get your act together, because there is too much competition in this town for Mexican food and you'll be out of job if you can't get things in line!
