Ward's Restaurant — Restaurant in Poplarville

Took family here when passing through to New Orleans for a cruise. Looked great outside, but found inside circa 1978 decor (when it opened). Big One chili cheeseburger for me and little one for the wife, and cheese fries for daughter. Looked like someone dumped a can of nacho cheese over the fries so my daughter couldn't eat it. Wife's burger was frozen school cafeteria patty but cooked a couple of hours prior, my Big One chili cheeseburger was also a frozen school patty cooked at same time with brown mess on top of patty.Tasted like a couple of steps below high school basketball concession food. My burger Looked like someone already ate it and regurgitated it for topping. Not worth the money. Pass this mess by. Counter girl was friendly enough but wanted to hurry us out after we decided we had enough. She is a good salesperson for horrible food. Almost had to stop car down road to vomit as it gave me a bad sour stomach. Should have gone to Cracker Barrel...

it's a local chain of fast food. it's about personal taste, you either like it or you don't. I do enjoy a chili burger occasionally (2 times a year?) one of the reasons I hardly stop is the employees outside the doors smoking cigarettes or them sitting on the ground outside the doors and when someone comes up they all have to rush inside smelling of cigs and wait on customer. doesnt seem like they have enough time to wash their hands before making food. maybe I'm wrong. anyway it looks bad from. a...

We went in there like we always do and we love the food but this time we were turn away cause of "No Pet policy " we have a very small shitzu that we always bring in there and she is well behaved but now under new owners we cant..come on! Really! We won't be back or recommend this Wards...BTW? My review had the wrong Wards address on it is the one in Kiln,Ms i was complaining about. Not the one...
