To spite the negatives we will still return as it is a great venue. We visit this place with our motorcycle rider's group. There is an attendant assisting with coordinating parking. Stopped in at 12:45 on a Sunday to meet for lunch, 8 in our party. We were seated immediately out on the deck under the edge of the pergola. It was a beautiful day and there were boats pulling in; the place was filling up quickly. We reviewed the menu and ordered relatively soon after seating. The beer was served cold. The yellow jackets were present and interested in our beers. They were not aggressive though so they were tolerable. The waitress sorta kept up with refilling the waters, she appeared to be in over her head so we adjusted our expectations. I ordered the caesar salad and replaced the chicken with a crab cake. The food came out at random intervals. A hot dog first, then the app arrived followed by most of the meals, then some side salads. My salad was the last thing to arrive and took about 8 minutes longer than all the other items. I felt that delay was not really explainable considering my associate ordered a crab sandwich and his arrived with other's food. For me salad, the dressing was served on the side (i did not ask for it that way); the parmesan cheese is shaved just right and the romaine is crisp. The crab cake was meaty and creamy but really just missing flavor, I expected better for a restaurant in Maryland. Then came the billing. I was blown away. The base cost on the menu for the salad was $20. I was presented a bill for my salad + crab cake as $59. The guy with the crab cake sandwich and side salad was $49. My 2 beers was an additional $12.
