Cape Coffee and IceCream — Restaurant in Port Saint Joe

We loved this place! There’s parking off the road behind the establishment which was nice. We originally came for ice cream but saw they had coffee so tried that too. The ice cream is Blue Bell so you can’t go wrong there, but the coffee was surprisingly delicious too! The iced caramel latte was so good. We loved it so much we stopped by again the next morning and got breakfast sandwiches (and of course another iced caramel latte - large size this time haha) on our way back home. The sandwiches were really good too. We got a sausage biscuit sandwich with pepper jack cheese and the sausage, egg and cheese melt. The staff were friendly. We will definitely be stopping here again anytime we visit CSB! I posted a picture of the hours just for clarity. There was another picture on Google reviews from a few months ago that showed 9 AM - 9 PM but the hours section on Google said 7:30 AM - 10 PM and we weren’t sure which was right, but their current hours on Google are correct as of today (08/10/2025) which is 7:30 AM - 10 PM. There is also a sign that said they stopped serving...

horrible service. employees looked at us while we were waiting outside in the rain and continued "cleaning" the same spot over and over again. at one point, one employee in particular locked eyes with me and immediately started cleaning again. waited for about 10-15 minutes before leaving. not a good experience at all.

Reply: hello and thank you for taking time to reply! my friend and i were at the shop at about 7:05-7:20 pm on Wednesday, October 11th. at first we assumed that they were busy and either making an order, or just cleaning up, but it continued, and seemed almost as if they were stalling to avoid serving us. after about 10-15 minutes we left and sat in our car shocked about what had just happened. while sitting in the car, we watched a man approach the shop, order, and leave with his ice cream. we did not know how to react and left feeling as if we were not good enough to eat there. again, i appreciate the time you took to reach out and correct this behavior. i hope to be able to enjoy any future experiences at this...

We came here several times during our Fall Break trip to CSB, either for iced lattes or for ice cream (both were delicious)! The most amazing thing about this place, though, is that when we stopped by for coffee on our way out of town, I left my wallet and didn't realize it until we were halfway back to Atlanta. I called and spoke with Sam who said he had been trying to find a way to reach me. Sam was amazing, and did not hesitate to drive 30 miles to the closest UPS to get it overnighted to me. Talk about great customer service! He was an absolute angel and proof that good, honest people do still exist in this world. I highly recommend supporting...
