Waffle House — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

Parking was a mess. The lot was full and we were in line for a parking space. That being said this isn’t a Waffle House parking lot review. This is a Waffle House review.

A few people left before they were able to park so that opened up some space for me to get in super quick. We were also able to get into a table super quick due to the people leaving at the time of our parking.

The table was cleaned and we were met with some friendly staff. They were knowledgeable about the menu and seemed interested in making sure we had a nice experience.

The food came out and I and didn’t think much about it at first; and then I tasted it. The food was to my surprise very delicious. The eggs were some of the best I’ve had, no cap. The eggs and waffles were the star of the show for me. The bacon and hash browns that came with the meal were both crispy and delicious.

I took some time to look around the rest user and everything was super clean. The bathrooms were very clean and the restaurant as a whole was more spacious on the inside than it seems from the outside. The employees have their own doorway that leads to the bathrooms so they don’t get in the way of the guests Not sure if that is a good or bad thing 🤭

Overall, the Waffle House was a great experience and did not disappoint. I recommend this restaurant for anyone that is looking for a taste traditional American breakfast.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Shitty service and shitty people. To begin with there were multiple tables unoccupied when walking in. But we sat down and waited to be acknowledged as customers waiting on a table but after 15 mins the tables were still dirty. When asking if someone was going to clean the tables we were given an attitude. Other than one server, I think he name was Kayleigh, who continued to help even when she was supposed to be getting off. So much so that we tipped this server rather than our own. She continued to help as we sat there with no refill on our drinks and getting attitude from our server Tracy. Not to mention the cook that was clearly not fit to work that day I guess as he continued to drop the food on the floor while trying to plate it. Having to remake 2 plates of food. Watched him rest the dirty spatula handle on my dad’s food. I asked for my hash browns to be cooked all the way through as I like them crispy and was told we don’t do that here after getting my plate remade for the third time and still getting soggy hash browns. When telling the server again got straight attitude. Then when server told the cook, the cook went on to have an attitude and began talking shit like we nor the other customers couldn’t hear him. Me and my husband went in for the first time to have breakfast. This place is small, not alot of seating and if your a big party good luck there are no tables to accommodate.Alot of people hurdled together working behind the counter..Jessica was our waitress. I ordered pecan waffles and coffee, the coffee was ok when ask to refill I passed. The waffle was flat not airy or fluffy I was disappointed and then I noticed the guy making the waffles was piling the waffles plate by plate..I was not feeling that..My husband had the scrabble eggs, sausage and hash potatoes, the potatoes were burnt very over cooked the sausage was 2 small patties and his eggs were runny for being scrabbled..I should of taken a picture..but since I won't ever eat there again its not worth the money..Jessica was attentive no complaints with her providing service. I was surprised on the menu no different types of waffles I felt like they should offer a variety of waffles..They also gave my husband OJ in a bottle like what you buy in a store...Your the Waffle House not a mom and Pop cafe...Thats what this place reminds me of a tiny cafe with a limited menu. No wow factor for me..I'll never leave my Dennys or IHOP for a great breakfast.. I'll always try something once but this place will not be...
