This location was getting better in the past 2 years but it’s really going downhill again. Tonight, I waited in the drive thru and they took 3 different cars orders before ours. On top of that, the order taker kept ringing up one of the items I ordered incorrectly, and I had to keep telling them that they still didn’t change it to the right thing… it took 3 separate times and it was a simple menu item, not a modified one. The order taker also kept asking, “anything else?” Over and over again and it felt like I was being rushed. Tonight is also not the first time I’ve noticed unpleasant changes.
Their service has gone down hill, a LOT. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of the workers are kind, but some new ones are really rude and unpleasant whenever I’m there.
Also, the ice cream scoops are so much smaller than they used to be. A 2 scoop cone is smaller than what a 1 scoop cone used to be. Other ice cream places don’t skimp on their custard. It’s such a skimp portion that I only get ice cream is I have a free scoop coupon.
Things have also gotten wayyyy slower since they added DoorDash. They need more labor for the multiple channels they serve.
I’ve been noticing these changes since the management changed recently. It’s disappointing to see a well liked establishment go downhill like this. If the “owner” or whatever bot comments on these bad reviews, don’t bother replying to this one. Read moreI frequently dine at the Culver's in Port Washington, Wisconsin. I've had little to no issues in the past however, lately my service has been horrendous. The struggle has recently come from a particular employee. I won't disclose names unless requested but she has a Mexican/Brazilian accent. She's nice at first but super strict and Every time I order food whem she is the order taker, my food comes out incorrect and she will argue with me and other people about how THEY are in the wrong and should have ordered it differently. She gives no compensation for the error or lost time and entirely blames me and others I've seen for the problem. She has also argued with me and a friend of mine about coupons and almost refusing to take them. Claiming they are "fake" or "expired" when they are well within the date and NOT actually expired. I've kept quiet for some time on this matter and it's happened far too many times with no resolve. I, along with several people i know will no longer be giving this location any of our business or recommending the restaurant to anyone else in the future. Read moreI've been driving past this Culver's every day and wanted to stop by after work on Fridays. I always see lots of cars, and think it's too busy and too crowded. I decided to stop to try this Culver's.
I had a very enjoyable evening.
I was greeted right away. Most of the staff looked happy to work there.
I placed my order and sat down. My meal came just a few minutes later. Very fast!
I believe it was the hostess who was walking around, greeting and interacting with all the customers. She was really welcoming.
The seating area was very spacious, lots of room for groups of people too. I was so surprised about the space.
I noticed how everyone interacted with each other, like one big family. People were laughing at kids being kids. Enjoying kids being kids. This Culver's was a happy place.
I had the Pepper Pub Grinder and onion rings and my favorite drink at Culver's, root beer.
It was like the Culver's commercial, my hamburger was perfectly crafted. It was freshly prepared after I ordered it, instead of waiting in the warmer.
