Always a good time at The Chatterbox. Bob & Bonnie go out of their way to ensure everyone is having fun. The atmosphere and the restaurant, with all the hallmarks of the old-time soda fountain, are a must see!

This place is a must if you’re visiting the railroad history attractions in the area. Great coffee drinks, pastries, sandwiches, soups and the friendliest people.

Nostalgia, ice cream shop , add to one tank trip if going thru area, then go to Stagers surplus department store

Every single thing they have here is great. The coffee is the best in town, sandwiches and soups are fresh and have a homemade taste and feel. The shakes are great and generous portions and the pastries are the best in town as well. Some of the best cookies I've ever had anywhere. Out of everything I said, the atmosphere is the most impressive thing about this place. All the nostalgic items and other curiosities to see and talk about leave you occupied the whole time you are there. It's by far my favorite place to relax and...

We love coming to the Chatter Box when we are in Portage. The owners are so friendly and welcoming when you arrive. I love exploring the shop which is full of vintage treasures to buy that are all at great prices. Some of our favorite food items are the icecream, Mighty Mayor, Hot Buttered Coffee, Chai Tea Latte, and chili. We always make it a point to stop by when we are in town and the experience never...

This place is a large vintage shop that just so happens to also be a coffee shop. The owners were a joy to have a long conversation with. The coffee was very good. The brownies were huge, and of course I found something to purchase from the vintage shop. The owners let us hang out for hours talking to our cousins, and came around offering...
