We initially came to support a local restaurant. Party of 6 so we understand and expected a slight delay, however, we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for even an appetizer to surface. We requested our 5yo sons dinner to be placed first and he waited the 80 minutes as well. All of our orders started coming out sporadically. My husband ordered jambalaya, the waitress came out and told him they were out of rice but the chef made him gumbo (which he didn't want). Perhaps they could have notified him the 1.5 hour prior that we waited they were out so he could have made another selection. My daughter and I ordered a $150 seafood boil. No gloves provided, which is fine. When we inquired, they indicated they would have to charge $1. OK, no problem. 15 minutes later they told us they were out of gloves. My older sons food (lobster mac&cheese) came out after 1 hour 45 minutes.
They do understandably charge an automatic 18% gratuity on larger parties but will also hand you the iPad for additional tip afterwards, so watch your bill.
Waitress was wonderful, the food was subpar and 2 hour service was horrific.
Could be a great establishment in our area if they fixed a few things. Wishing them good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn response to the restaurant reply: it is not about the price we complain, first and main is that the price on the menu doesnāt match the price in the check. No one bothered to let us know. Technically you can change people whatever comes to your mind after they ate your food. And say āprice is subject to changeā. We paid and 30 and more for lobster rolls. The quality is what is missing, price is okay (even $23, if you just let people know ahead of time what they will be charged. Very poor management.
Be careful because you will be charged more than you expect! Restaurant charged us completely different price from the menu price because it said in the corner of the menu that price is subject to change without notice. Waitress said āI am used to people knowing the prices here that is why i didnāt tell you they are different from what menu saysā. For $23 for a lobster roll ($20 listed on the menu) you will get a small tasteless roll. Tiny bit of mayo will cost you $2. The place is filled with smoke from the kitchen and it is pretty dirty. We paid $74 for our meal and it is the biggest disappointment we had for a long long time. Will never come back and hope you will never step foot...
