What an eventful night. We go to look at Christmas lights then go to Portage Rd McDonalds for food. We order our food and proceed to the window and pay. When we get our Quarter pounders w/ bacon they don't have bacon on them. So I hand them back and tell they girl at the window. She takes them back and brings back the same burgers with bacon on them. Then hands out the fries. They were cold and stiff. I hand them back and ask for fresh fries. She ask me to pull into the drive thru spot. After waiting 30 min and numerous vehicles going through. I back up and get in the line again. When I got to the window again, I ask the girl are my 3 fries ready yet. She says oh ya and goes and gets her manger. I explained we were waiting 30 min in the parking space and we still needed 3 fries. The manager says I'm sorry we are short staffed and if I would pull into the parking spot she would have them brought out. I said no thank you. I've already waited 30 min and I was not going to park and be forgotten about again. BAM! She goes off. I have to pull up to let other people get their orders. I said if you quit talking and go drop some fries they'll get done quicker. She starts with more fbombs then I hear in a week in a shop full of guys. She says she is going to call her GM and the police if I don't pull into a drive in spot. I say that I really don't appreciate all the fbombs in front of my daughter and wife. I said ok call. Big Kaboom! as they slams the window closed. She says I F ing hate white people. She still dropping fbombs while she gets her GM on the phone. She comes back opens the window and says she has her GM on the phone and if I don't move from the window she is going to call the police. Before I could say anything she slams the window closed again and is calling Portage PD. Still using fbombs every other word. When Portage PD arrives the officer ask me to pull into a drive thru spot so we could get to the bottom of this. I say, sure no problem. I tell him what happened, and tell him if she would just reimburse me for the fries I'd call it good. The officer takes my receipt and goes inside. When he comes back, the officer stated she said I was being offensive and rude. She refuses to reimburse me for the fries that I didn't receive. The officer stated very professionally and nice there's nothing he could do. He could not force them to reimburse me. The officer stated they have problems alot at this McDonald's. He recommended contact cooperate with the info on my receipt and tell them what happened. I assured him I was going to. We both agreed I didn't want to eat the fries if they did bring them out. I have no qualms with Portage PD. The officer was professional and did what he could. I will be contacting McDonald's cooperate Monday morning and I encourage anybody else that has a problem with that McDonald's to do the same. It's the only way to make a change at...
Read moreThis here Mc Donald's is usually on point. I stop here from time to time to surprise my kiddos with there favorites. Well on yesterday night of August 15th 2025, My husband and I used the drive thru and ordered six $5 meal deals for my children awaiting at home. The attendants asked the usual questions, "What sauce and drink would you like for those meals?" We gave the info, pulled around to the first window, paid the attendant and went to the second window to pick up the food. They gave us the food, I asked, " Is everything here. This is quite alot of food to check through and it will hold up the line." The attendants said they were sure every thing is there. I asked them, " What bag has the Mac sauce in it?", she replied that it was the very first bag she passed over with the sweet and sour sauce. I trusted her, said thanks and drove all the way home, which is quite a drive into the back country. We got home, passed each meal to each child according to their request, and my 12 year old comes to me and says, "Mom my burger isn't here, the Mac sauce is here in this container but no burger." I called Mc Donald's, talked to a sweet young lady named Emily, told her the problem, she admits it was their mistake and offered for me to return the next day, she said that she'll write down my name and ask for a manager named Roy. The night of the 16th I returned. I ordered four meal deals and reminded the attendant Isaiah about my incident, gave my name, gave Emily's name, the manager Roy's name and Isaiah goes on to say, "If it was only a burger missing he can replace that, but it makes no sense to replace the entire meal." I retold Isaiah the problem from the previous day and how it was an inconvenience to drive back to the restaurant that night and drive back home again, my kid didnt have his food that night all because of their error. Isaiah still went on about replacing the one burger, still displaying not a care in the world about the situation and inconvenience. I asked Isaiah was he the night shift manager. He replied No and continued to totally dishonor Emily's offer. I told him to cancel my four meal deals and drove off. I did NOT appreciate Isaiah's lack of professionalism and customer service. He didn't try to look into the note Emily left or tried to work anything out. He definitely needs more training in problem solving and should avoid working directly with...
Read moreI have gotten used to this location somehow messing up my order. Normally it's something small such as not giving me the sauce I asked for with my nuggets or giving me a medium fry when I ordered a large. However, today I was given the entirely wrong order. My order consisted of a 2 cheeseburger meal with large fry and large coke and an additional small fry. I was given a bag that upon first look had 2 burgers and a medium fry. When I informed the window attendant that had ordered 2 fries she told me no I didn't that she only had 1 two cheeseburger meal and it didn't have 2 fries. Annoyed I said whatever and pulled off into a parking spot to give my daughter the only fries in the bag and was settled on that I would not have fries myself. As I went to leave I discovered the cheeseburgers had big Mac sauce added to them, which I did not order. At this point I was heavily annoyed and turned back around and parked again. I went inside to get the regular cheeseburgers I ordered. I was obviously mad. The manager told an employee to see what was wrong with me. I let him know that the cheeseburgers in the bag I was given had big mac sauce which isn't what I ordered. At this point the window attendant woman said "She doesn't even know what she ordered". To which I loudly replied "I do know what I orderd" and rattled off my receipt. She then responded with "I wasn't talking to you". Which I shouldn't have responded but I did and said "I know, but you were talking about me and I can hear you." Another employee at this point came to me and asked what needed fixed. I let her know I just wanted the 2 regular cheeseburgers I had ordered and that I was over the fries...
