UPDATE My first review was 6 years ago. My opinion has changed dramatically since then. My child and I use to eat here regularly. We loved it. Unfortunately, the food has been so dry, not enough sauce. I ask for extra because the food is dry I have to pay for it. We could eat here for $10-$15. Now we order the same items and we pay over $30.00. Really not worth it. Which saddens me because it was our little get away. Now we never go. The prices for the food makes it hard to take your family out for dinner. If it's over $30.00 for two people think about a family trying to feed everyone. I can't imagine. The hours they have now makes it hard. I'm sure there are couples that would like to get away for a quiet dinner or out with friends. Plus I keep hearing about an 18% charge. I've never heard of that charge. I certainly hope I haven't been charged for it the few times we've ordered out. I have only gotten take out not dine in. Very sad. It's to bad it's changed so drastically. Looking at the other reviews they might want to pay attention. I saw more bad than good. Instead of being the favorite in town they may end up the worst. It really sucks. What happened to the place everyone loved and couldn't wait to go????

By far has been the worst experience ever.

We waited 2.5 hours to get our food. But that wasn't the worst part, our food tasted disgusting. Our crunchy tacos were soggy, our sope crust wasn't toasty or cooked all the way and the chicken was super hard and overly salty. I went to the front to speak with a manager but waited over 6 minutes before someone finally addressed me. Once I explained that we were not happy with our food, the manager pretty much was short with me and said that it was because they were swamped and couldn't keep up with the orders. But I explained that we never had this problem at this restaurant before and we've came on other holidays. He just told us food was comped, so we were preparing to leave a tip for the waitress since it wasn't her fault the food wasn't up to par, but THEN the owner came out and rudely said, if we didn't like the service to never come back again. Which wasn't what we were complaining about. We said it wasn't the waitress fault, it was the cook who messed up our food. We were willing to pay for part of food since it wasn't all bad, but once the owner came out and made super rude comments, we just left AND WILL NEVER GO BACK FOR...

Absolutely Horrible – Never Again

My coworkers and I decided to try this place for dinner, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The staff was incredibly rude and acted like we were an inconvenience just for showing up. I ordered the tostadas mixta, and what I got was a sad, sloppy mess of what tasted like imitation crab and some questionable shrimp thrown together with zero care. It was nearly inedible — I couldn't even finish it and just left the plate there.

What really blew my mind was the price. For what I got, it was insanely overpriced. I could’ve had a better meal at a gas station taco stand for half the cost. I honestly don’t understand how this place has such high ratings — maybe the old reviews are from a different era, because what we experienced was nothing short of awful.

This was our first and definitely our last time here. DO NOT waste your time or money. You’ve been warned.

Una estafa total. Atención pésima, comida asquerosa y carísima. Pedí la tostada mixta y era un plato desordenado de jaiba falsa y camarones malos. No lo terminé. No entiendo las buenas reseñas, ¡seguro son viejas! Primera y última...

This was an overpriced establishment, and our server had an extremely negative attitude the entire time she served us. To begin, she was asked by another employee to give my husband samples of some sauces before we ordered, and my husband heard her say "Oh my God" after she grunted in an annoyed voice. Then, she waited to take our order after a family that came in after us had already ordered and eaten their food. My husband ordered the siete marez soup, and he took a bite of a piece of fish that he said was rotten and spit it back out. Lastly, when we got the bill, it was outrageously high for what we had ordered. I had ordered a patron margarita and it was $29.95!!! When my husband approached the server and asked her how much that margarita was, she said $25. He told her the bill said, $29.95 and she said "yeah that's what it is". We paid and left. We will not be returning here, and I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone.

Went for lunch to this cool place. It was pretty busy, but not so much that we weren't seated and being attended to during the first three minutes we were there. One fish taco y dos de tripa are what was devoured. For the price, they were significantly large tacos. There was plenty of meat served on the tripa tacos and the fish taco was a real filet!!! It was crunchy and drizzled with some type of ranch based dressing! I am 6'3" and weigh approximately 300 pounds and I got full. I paid under $15. Great price and portions compared to other experiences I've had.

This is consistantly great Mexican food. Some people judge it harshly because they use a sweet red sauce for their enchiladas. I happen to love their red sauce because it's less traditional and a nice change up. The chips and salsa are the best I've had(a bold statement that I will gladly stand behind). The service is top notch, servers are usually sweet little old ladies who are attentive and friendly. They used to sell beer in pitchers but stopped for some reason. 😩
