The Hamburger Stand — Restaurant in Porterville

I live in Bakersfield Ca. and work for a local office as a registered process server and occasionally I'm assigned work in Tulare County.Today I had addresses in Porterville and Springville so before heading back home I needed to get something to eat. A woman at a nearby real estate office pointed up the road to The Hamburger Stand. I ordered a grill cheese sandwich and a Mocha shake . The sandwich was I guess what one would expect .... process cheddar cheese on sourdough. Nothing to write home about. The Mocha shake was thick and tasted legitimate in terms of flavor. The gastrointestinal consequences of this dining experience came about three hours later when I got home and spent a good portion of the evening confined to the porcelain throne. I had not eaten anything earlier in the day so I cannot attribute this misery to any other source. I have heard that it is extremely important that restaurant equipment used to prepare or process food that involves dairy products should be cleaned and sterilized very often I.e. daily and if circumstances warrant, more often than just once a day. Someone needs to take a close look at the sanitation protocol at this establishment. I for one will...

Driving back from the day at Balch Park, told my boyfriend I was craving a hamburger. Got into Springville and happen to see The Hamburger Spot, my boyfriend asked if I wanted to try it and I said sure! It was pretty busy when we walked in and there was only one person doing it all, taking orders, and making the food, cleaning up, all of it! But let me tell you, it was definitely worth the wait!! The people that were there waiting all said the same thing, darn good food!!! Heard someone call him Morgan so let's hope that was his name! He was great, he was in total control and got down!! Friendly and great attitude! My pictures aren't the best but the food definitely was!!! We'll certainly go back when passing through!!! It's a small little place but sometimes those are the best and this one...

They have the best milkshakes. Just the right consistency and not only already have over 20 flavor combinations they will make your shake any flavor you can come up with. Staff is friendly helpful and ser ice is done with a smile and quick . Everything I've had the pleasure of eating there was well worth the price. Not any more expensive than Burger King or Carl's jr. The difference is the people serving your food are curtious and know everything on their menu. Hope you try this place it's...
