Ole Hickory Smokehouse — Restaurant in Portia

I have never left a food review but this experience was so bad I feel I have to. My husband and I were only people in the restaurant. We weren't greeted and wasn't sure if we should order at window or at our table. We had to ask someone in the back. When the waitress brought our coffee it was ice cold. We finally got her attention and she offered to heat it not make a fresh pot. We watched her pour it back into the coffee pot and turn it on. We waited 15 minutes and she decided she could heat it in microwave. 20 minutes after all this we get our food. The ribs were just barely warm the fries and beans were cold. She took the beans and heated them in the microwave. The spoon she brought for us to eat with was a huge tablespoon that i couldnt even fit in my mouth. She didnt once apologize for the problems, offer hot food or discount the bill. The only good thing was the size of the portions but what good is that if you can't eat it. We will not...

Food was definitely a 10 out of 10 I ordered two barbecue nachos, onion rings, fried okra and two chocolate milkshakes the chocolate milkshakes were so creamy not too thick. The barbecue nachos were definitely a hit. The only thing I think would make them better stop using shredded cheese and use nacho cheese. They loaded my nachos up with all the toppings. This was a disappointment. The meat was dry, tough and crunchy like it was the last of lunch time scraped out of the bottom of the pan.
