Burger Heaven & Smooth Acai — Restaurant in Portland

I normally don't post or leave reviews unless I have a terrible meal or experience but I felt compelled to leave a review for burger heaven. I wound up here for lunch by accident. I drive by all the time and always thought that this was just another ordinary burger joint so I never considered stopping in. Today I was driving around trying to decide what to eat and due to a missed turn and the place I was planning on eating not being open here I am. Boy am I sorry I didn't come here sooner. The food is amazing. I got the burger with portabela mushroom and Swiss. Cooked perfect med rare and real good quality beef. The chips it came with were also excellent. I also ordered the poutine and love the thick cut fries. My only complaint if need to give one was the cheese curds on the poutine were not melted which I am not used to. The place has a fast food feel so the prices can seem steep, but its far superior to fast food in quality. The value is on par for a mid priced dining experience. Have loved everything I've ordered. The chicken and waffles rivals the same dish at the diner. (Will be my new go-to for that hankering) The buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious and dripping with sauce. The sides are generously portioned. I realize I've only reviewed the chicken at the burger/smoothy place, but I can't recommend this place enough already. Can't wait to try more menu items over time. House chips aren't my style (they are an odd thick cut kettle chip which fails at being a chip or a fry in consistency), but the upgrade to alternate sides is only $1, sweet potato...

So I stopped for a quick bite as I saw this place while driving at work. I thought this looks really cool and good. Boy was I mistaken. Calling this good isn't doing it justice. The staff was friendly and helpful as I'm very indecisive. Got the Cali burger. Cooked fresh and to perfection. Flavorful and juicy. I was extremely impressed as I'm a burger lover and have had some good ones but this. This is at the top. My apologies for not having a photo. I took the first bite and never put it down. It's gone.
