Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Portland

Everytime I have come to this location I regret my visit. The workers seem so unhappy and snooty like they just don't want to be there. The prices are extremely high for what you get and you have to ask for a receipt to figure out how you got there. The first time I ordered a hot dog and chicken strips along with a small ice cream and it was near 28 dollars as everything was rung separately so they would make more money, instead of putting it in as a value meal. I ordered a chicken strip basket the second time and instead of fries asked for cheese curds, I was charged separately for them, an extra 3 dollars, I get it just let me know before hand, hey there will be an extra charge. In addition the small cone I recieved was smaller than a kids cone and what's the point in trying the dip if they don't even take time to dip the icecream properly, the dip is basically non existent. Honestly when I recieved the cone I thought this is the saddest looking ice cream I have ever seen. Also 5 dollars for a mini blizzard is insane to me, it was very melted. Placed an order to the wrong location (my mistake) even after selecting the closest location to me, I tried to cancel or change location and it quickly became obnoxiously time consuming. I was trying to grab a quick bite on my 30 minute break, but spent the rest of my break calling the store to attempt to cancel and calling corporate just to “request a refund”. Now I have to wait for a call back from the store owner, not given a time frame on that. Couldn’t get food on my break, nor do I know if I am to receive anything refund. RIDICULOUS. I understand I am one little customer but I have zero intentions of ever returning to Dairy Queen after this issue. Restaurant was very crowded, but service was still reasonably fast. The line moved quickly and while there were alot of people waiting to receive their orders, the staff handled it well. The ice cream was good and had a good amount of toppings compared to the other Dairy Queen location in the area. This is definately my preferred location due to the quality and quantity of the food compared to the other location, even though this one is smaller with less seating.
