El Camino Real Restaurant — Restaurant in Portland

There is not a large selection of eateries in Portland and unfortunately my one experience with this location places it below Taco bell (which is not good for a sit down restaurant). I had what was supposed to be a combo burrito and enchilada plate, which was just a corn and flour tortilla stuffed with chicken...no cheese or other fillings. My wife had a similar plate except hers was just ground beef, nothing else. Not impressed. Service was okay, but not attentive. We sat in a well lite and well worn section of the dining area which was pretty quiet. It seems to be a popular place but it was late in Sunday so maybe this was one off, but I am not inclined...

Disappointed with the flavor of the food, all I tasted was ground beef and they had way too much ground beef with no seasoning. Ordered a combo plate which included a chili relleno, enchilada and burrito. Should have given me an option maybe to make it cheese or something else but he ran off without asking and I was preoccupied with my dinner guests. The margaritas were weak but tasted good. I had a raspberry margarita. Surprised because this place was pretty busy 5 in the evening. I will not be returning to this restaurant it's not the good Mexican food that...

This place is 💯 worth your time and money. The waiter was quick with drinks and very polite constantly making sure everything was alright. I got #23 with a side of queso and a Miller Lite - price $18 and some change. The meal was out within 5 min of me ordering and yes that was with other customers there. The food was a large enough amount I had to get a to go box. Oh and I can't forget the salsa - if you like spicy their hot salsa is absolutely fabulous. This place is excellent and deserves...
