This in no way reflects whoever was working last night, or maybe it does I don’t know. And normally I’d hate to leave a review, but this is purely to warn anyone getting a pizza from here on out… Now, this was my first time actually getting from Papa Murphy’s so it’s not like my business will effect you guys in any way, but again this just goes as a forewarning…the pizza itself was great that wasn’t the issue. But you absolutely need a legitimate pizza rack. This isn’t to say I didn’t know better, I absolutely should’ve just been prepared when cooking at all at home, but for some reason I guess I had thought maybe it’d be a bit easier to bake. Attempting to transfer the pizza was harder than anything I’ve dealt with in a while, I actually don’t know if I would go back for that reason alone, to purposely avoid having to transfer it from the huge paper plate it was on? I guess I’m normally used to them coming on a thicker piece of cardboard, and I sound stupid pointing out thicker cardboard, but this really was just like an enormous paper plate the slices from Costco come on? Like I said, the pizza itself was as good as it could’ve been I guess after the whole thing came apart and I had to figure out some sheisty maneuver to shimmy it onto a baking sheet..my point just is the logistics of it in how it’s transferred and cooked completely destroyed the entire experience? I will gladly now just pay $50-$60 in a fully cooked pizza at this point, it was an idea trying to help myself out, but if the pizza is practically melted wrapped in cling wrap just waiting to fall apart once even touched (which it needs to be) then yeah, I’d definitely be doing myself...
Read moreWe order from her at least once or twice every few months. My recent experience was from an online pickup order.
Usually the customer service here is amazing and it seems like they enjoy working here. However last night was not the usual customer service. It could have been because the young ladies working would have rather been out and about for Halloween instead of working.
I was greeted as if I was a nuisance as one gal was sweeping the floor when I entered.
I mentioned my husband in lace an online order and I was here to pick it up( usually he is the one who goes so I didn’t know the standard practice for pick up)
I was never greeted with a smile or asked how can we help you, or even a welcome to Papa Murphy’s
I have before. Even though again my husband usually picks up I have been in and had experienced quality customer service. Anyway… I went for the mini Murph that we had ordered and politely asked if we could get Canadian bacon and pineapple toppings instead of pepperoni.
That’s when I got attitude from the ladies I was rudely told we don’t have a Canadian bacon and pineapple mini Murph’s.
with my confusion of the attitude I asked questions how we could get toppings for it. I politely explained that we had paid for the mini Murph and was confused that I had to pay extra for toppings which I I did, but it was just their attitude and aggression over explaining to me that there was no Canadian bacon and pineapple mini Murph .
These gals could have easily and politely explained everything to me. I’m an understanding person I paid for the extra toppings, and I collected my pizzas and I left, but I was just shocked at the level of...
Read moreCalled an order in yesterday and for some reason the POS system was not working. I was told that the POS system was not very reliable but they ran my card, unfortunately I did not have cash on me at the time, and was told that the "system failed to initialize" I have no idea what exactly that meant but it just meant that I wasn't getting my pizza unless I had cash. So as I was leaving I heard a not so concerned "Sorry" No can we give you a dollar off a future order, or what can we do to, just "Sorry" So "sorry" for some reason I won't be going to the Papa Murphy's on Multnomah Blvd anymore. I don't mind that they had technical difficulties, it happens, it was the complete lackluster customer service that made me realize there are other stores pretty close that are...
