The atmosphere in this place is like a cabin..it's cosy, a tiny bit loud due to the hard surfaces but a very convivial atmosphere. I always forget to take pix of the interior. The food was just ok. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would. I ordered the lamb shank which I pretty much always do if it's on a menu. The description said it comes over white bean. I love white bean. But really it came smothered in a brown sauce that had white beans in it. I fished the lamb shank and the white beans out of the thick gravy and ate it separately. The lamb shank was tender fall off the bone as you would expect. I just wish it hadn't been buried in sauce. Well prepared lamb shank doesn't need too much. Mark had the salmon which was perfectly cooked. I am disappointed that for the price my dish didn't come with a veg. The server explained that it comes with white bean (which to me isn't quite a veg). I ordered a side if sauteed spinach which was delicious. The clam chowder starter was flavourful and had a good amount of tender clams although it was a little salty. Overall the food was decent and the service was outstanding. There's a decent selection of wine and a bit of a surprise at dessert with the beignets. Those of you who follow me know we spend a portion of the year in New Orleans. The beignets here were served warm with 3 sauces. Not quite as fluffy as I like my beignets but pretty decent nonetheless. My father in law...

My husband and I ended up eating dinner there last night. It was his birthday I had originally made reservations for Longboards and when I called about an hour before we were supposed to go there just to let them know some details they informed me that they weren't taking any reservations tonight. So I told her that the gentleman that answered the phone on Thursday went ahead and took the reservations for Saturday but she said there was no way because they had a wedding and they had a golf tournament so when I called the grizzly grille to ask if they could squeeze Us in at 5:00 p.m. she was very hesitant but when I told her it was my husband's birthday she relented. Which was so very nice. Our experience from when we walked in the door to when we finished our meal was wonderful I had the mushroom ravioli and my husband had the pot roast both...

The Grizzly Grill is absolutely fantastic. I rarely review anything, my Amazon account will vouch for that, but I have to tell people about TGG. First off, call for reservations because they may be booked. The staff is so friendly and extremely accommodating. The food is next level. I had the “Prime Rib Special” which had to be 12 oz if not more and it was worth every cent. I could spend paragraphs on details but in all seriousness the staff and the food are everything you hope for so details be damned. If you’re ever around Northern California look up The Grizzly Grill in Blairsden/Graeagle. If you’re a golfer you probably know where it’s at. The bar is well...

This Grizzly is by far one of the best, most consistent, restaurants in the area. Not just the food is amazing but the service is awesome. There isn't one thing on the menu I can say is my favorite because everything is amazing. If you happen to go on a Friday, the clam chowder is a must try. They also have one of the best ribeyes around. I forgot to take pics before diving into our food but I did take a few still.

This was a lovely spot to eat dinner! I had the shrimp scampi which was good. However, my husband had the lamb shank which was excellent! The side salad that came with dinner was great. They have delicious homemade blue cheese dressing. My husband enjoyed the soup of the day, cheesey potatoe. We both had a "Traditional Moscow Mule" to drink. We were too full for dessert.
