Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Poteau

I have made it my life’s mission to have every breakfast burrito offered in this wonderful little town. Unfortunately every list must have an item at the bottom and the Scooters Spicy Sausage burrito lands squarely in that uncoveted last slot.

Service: was fine. Staff was pleasant and prompt.

Appearance of “food”: It is said that people eat with their eyes first, in this case, my enthusiasm drained at the first sight of the burrito inside the packaging. I could tell it was small. Upon liberating the gaunt burrito from its double layered packaging, any remaining enthusiasm I had managed to save drained from this culinary endeavor. It was flat, greasy, and small for the $4+ price tag attached.

Taste: overall, the taste wasn’t bad. It was messy and greasy, but the taste wasn’t awful. I did however expect to find some sausage within the spicy sausage burrito but alas, I did not.

Overall impression: I will go to great lengths in life to not eat another Scooters breakfast burrito.

First time at this scooters because they were empty and 7 brew was busy. My drink was good and they were fast! I was charged 7.82 for a large matcha half cold brew which is more than just getting a large of either cold brew or matcha. That doesnt make much sense when im only getting half of each. When I asked how it was priced the young lady seemed irritated with my question but was professional and explained. I've been several times, and they've always been great! They are super nice, the orders are always right and quick, and taste good! I've had the chai teas, the fruit smoothies, and a friend had espresso. (They said it was way better than 7 Brews espresso, and Scooters actually knew what we meant when we asked for espresso.) I will definitely be back!!
