MY WORST EVER restaurant experience ! We waited 45 minutes for our sandwiches, while people who arrived after us had been served. I politely asked a waitress at the counter if our order would be ready soon. When a waitress finally brought our food, a woman appeared out of nowhere, grabbed the plate with my food, slammed it on the table in front of me and said, "I hope you don't choke on it!" I was dumbstruck. I asked the waitress, "who was that woman?" She meekly said, the owner. I waited until I was ready to pay the bill and asked to speak with her. At that point she came tearing out of the kitchen and started screaming at me and shaking her finger in my face. She said I complained in a loud voice and in front of customers because I did not get my food. Absolutely not true, plus it was so darned noisy in the place no could hear me. She carried on a like she was possessed. I couldn't get a word in as she ranted and raved. Then she called a regular customer to her defense and this obnoxious man started pointing his finger in my face and yelling. After reading other reviews about the place, I note how many people single out the owner for her nasty behavior and poor treatment. It's obvious the waitresses are scared of her. She is a nightmare--not to mention the food is less than mediocre and overpriced. I hurts that I had to give one star in order to post this review. Even if you are starving, pass this place by. I thought I was in a...

Took my family here this morning. Sat and waited for twenty minutes before someone even ackowledged that we were there. Once they finally did come over, waitress just threw down three menues and said"IIll be back." Um okay.. so that was pretty damn rude. No drinks, and a poor attitute. After 10 more minutes of waiting, my girlfriend went up to try and get some drinks at least to tide us over until someone decided to serve us, but to no avail. They never even ackowledged she was standing there. It was at this time that we got up and left. Physically the place wasnt really clean either, with water marks on the ceilings, sticky table and some non pleasant odors. Whats worse is they have signs on their tables that warn you about being on your cell phones and they wont serve you if you are?? Really? Rather egotistical of a place that cant even provide drinks to their guests within 30 minutes of sitting. Ive given this plave enough tries and this was the last straw. If you do actually get to the meal and the bill, make sure its right because i have had the bill total be off by ten dollars or more at times ib their favor. Do yourself a favor and make the trip somewhere else like the Cracker Barrel at Toftrees. Amazing service and they actually care about their customers there. We will never go to Earlystown Diner and their airplane looking ...

I ate here once before and it was really good. But today not so much. Very disappointed. I ordered the cheese omelet. It came with toast and homefries. And I ordered a diet pepsi. The toast was good. And the omelet was cooked perfectly, but it had an old grease aftertaste. The homefries did also. I ate most of the omelet but not the fries. I went to pay with my debit card and the server said it was cash only. I guess their card machine was down? Idk. I only had $2 cash on me which i left on the table as a tip, planning to leave more with my card. She said there's an atm. It was right next to the register. So, i got $20 off my debit card. The bill was $15. The atm charged me a $2 fee and i know my bank will probably charge at least $3. So, i didn't end up tipping more and I feel bad because it wasn't the server's fault. But wow...so i ended up paying $22 for breakfast which tasted awful. Lol. Oh well. I thought about telling them that the grill needed cleaning or something but I didn't want to make a scene. Win some, lose...

Lovely experience for breakfast! My omelet (the veggie mess) was absolutely delicious. I loved the wheat toast as well but their homemade toast was a bit disappointing (I always have high hopes for home made toasts, could be that too). I loved the coffee. The coffees at some of these diners are literally the best tasting. Coffee here and at Junction 144 are amazing. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy as well, very authentic and he should know since he’s southern. He did not like the ham as much however and loved the bacon. I LOVED the pancake. SO GOOD. I am literally considering going back just for the pancake and I’m not sweet toothed at all. Overall, great food & great staff!

Earlystown Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful location in Centre Hall, PA. It's right off a main road but back far away enough with a long drive way and plentiful parking that you feel like you're secluded. Ceremonies are outside in the lawn and receptions are held under a tent. While the main house gives rooms to your bridal party and an area to get ready in the main house and there is a separate house detached for the other party.

Popular with locals. Big plates of honest food. Fast friendly service. Clean. Homey American diner. You could probably get a milkshake here but I didn’t. We had a turkey club and a Reuben. Massive. Fresh turkey with BLT on crispy toast. Thick cut corned beef German style on marbled rye. Lots of sauerkraut and cheese. Many desserts on offer. They looked mighty fine. We didn’t get any.
