We spent a couple of days group camping here. Our grassy site was reasonably level and luckily we had plenty of hose to reach the water that we shared with our neighbors. We were told that the shower house is not heated and hot water was in short supply. Nighttime was lit up by bright streetlights on each of the power poles. Despite a couple of days of rain the area around us remained firm enough that there were no muddy ruts on our vacating the site. We found the 4 dump stations near gate 4 to be clean enough and usable. Wifi was good and Verizon and T-Mobile signals were strong. The fairgrounds are large and not much was happening this first week of May, but it’s clear that the facility is geared for large crowds.

Very nice, a lot of different food Venders and food too eat , they even have someone selling spaghetti ice cream lol, they have carnival rides , they have a ferris wheel , they have a big playground for the kids. very friendly people , this Fair is huge but very organized , they have carnival type games to play and you win prizes, they have an ATM machine out there just in case you run out of cash , oh I forgot they have free live music too! I had a rib dinner with fries it was soo good . Be prepared to do some walking but they have plenty of benches to sit down all over the place.

It is a yearly fair. This year celebrated 150th year. It is the only fair that people move into for 9 days to live in a tent (1000) of them, plus pull in a a RV (1500) . Grandstand entertainment, all types of fair find, rides, farm animals. Kids showing off there animals in competition ring for the chance of a blue ribbon. Grand champion of there class. Tractor, truck pulls are a few more of the exciting things at this fanastic fair in August every year.

I've been coming to this fair my entire life. Over the last 30 years, there have been a few changes (more campers, more vendors) but th magic of this fair has never changed. Those that tent here and those who stay in campers have a small community where you have yearly check ups on your neighbors, it's safe for kids to play, and an overall feeling of trust exists. As for the rest of the fair with the shops, animals, food, games, and rides, it feels like any other county fair might feel: Spending too much on a slice of pizza, and paying game vendors 30x the price for their stuffed animals. It's a great time for all though. No complaints. Would recommend to anyone for a...

Way to many people very hard to walk around and enjoy yourself always bumping into other people. Bring a lot of money cause you will truly need it. If you have kids you better have saved up money for a year to truly enjoy yourselves you have to pay to get in you have to pay to park I think you even have to pay to breath air there. I was there for 3 hours and I had enough I was so ready to get out of there 😩 😫. It's all about money at this rip off place. I hate hate hate the fair. People are so ready to get in then when it's time to move out they HOLD US UP SO THEY CAN GET OUT. YOU WANT IN THERE SO BAD THEN STAY IN THERE WE SHOULD NOT BE HELD UP FOR...
