I went to the pub last night with a group of friends, it was not a great experience unfortunately. I wanted to take time to process what happened yesterday and to write this review with a clear mind...

Ive been there a few times and always had a good time and great food but last night, that was not the case. I ordered the Mac and cheese with the buffalo chicken tenders on the side. When the food came the server put our food down and asked if everything looked alright and if we needed anything else. (The server also never came back after this) We started eating and I noticed the buffalo chicken was pretty burnt, my friends told me to send it back but i was content with my Mac and cheese so it was whatever but when the server came back to take plates she asked if I wanted a box for my chicken to go and i said no I'm fine but the server then proceeded to ask if there was something wrong with the chicken so I told her it was burnt and dry and she asked what she would like me to do I said you can comp it if you want but honestly it's not that big of a deal... Well skip ahead like 10 minutes another lady comes out and starts lecturing me rudely about not sending my food back sooner and not telling my server when she came to check on us and I told her the server never came back but she kept lecturing me about how I should have sent my food back sooner, I finally told her it wasn't even that big of a deal I will pay for the chicken cuz that was my plan anyways and I absolutely hate confrontation so I just wanted her to leave us alone. Come to find out it was the owner that came over and talked to us like that. Absolutely blows my mind that I got treated like that all because the server asked if I didn't like the chicken. Come to find out from reading other reviews that they burn food quite often. Maybe instead of treating the customers like crap you can talk to your cooks about properly cooking the food.

I'm still giving a 3 star on the food because the Mac and cheese was pretty awesome and the food from the other times I went was also pretty awesome. The atmosphere was also nice, live music every time we have gone. I also want to add they gave me half of my bill to "fix" it but honestly, being disrespected like that wasn't worth...

We love the pub and the food, but unfortunately had a very stupid experience at the bluegrass jam session tonight. Great music, and we brought a friend that LOVES music and learned from her father to play the spoons, I convinced her to come and listen, and maybe to contribute to the music as a jam musician. She played one song and was respectful to the solo jams, and was even called forward to play a solo - she loved it and seemed to be appreciated by the other musicians. We sat down for a few more songs, and then when another appropriately lively song came, she got up and played the spoons along with the jam session of other string instruments. After she just finished, a waiter from the pub came up to her and asked her not to play, that the spoons were too "intrusive" to the other jammers! I just need to say... it takes a lot of courage for someone to get up and participate - and that has always been encouraged from all the other musicians there, and the musicians also encouraged my spoon playing friend too - isn't that what a jam session is?? The waiter totally embarrassed and likely inhibited this unique instrument from ever playing there again. If it is a jam session with many ages, many instruments, who is to say who can or can't participate - I would think the musicians themselves. They did not seem to have an issue with a new instrument joining in - so what bothered me most was the lack of encouragement and appreciation for the communal experience of jamming with...

We didn't even get a chance to try the food. The lady at the bar was extremely rude to our party. We had come into town to see a few family members and as we were leaving, we were getting hungry. Taps was recommended to us so we drove out. When we arrived and asked for a table, the woman at the bar kept saying they had no places available, granted we did come in at about an hour before close, but if you're not going to sit people you should close earlier or just say it's too close to our closing, We can't seat you. The woman at the bar told our party it would be a half hour for a table and would not let us sit on the deck and wait for our table even though there was plenty of seating available on the deck. When my daughter and myself had to use the restroom we were allowed to walk back but as we walked back to the restroom, we found three empty tables for a seating of five and there was nobody waiting ahead of us.
