A group of 5 of us went there last weekend. The bartender seemed mad that he had to make us a drink. We had simple mix drinks: 3 Titos, 1 Captain and 1 beer. He was upset that we wanted tall glasses and only one shot, I said ok, doubles would be fine. Then he yelled at me "well you're gonna pay for doubles then!" I smiled and said absolutely, of course. We're just here to have a good time. My friend drinking beer went to get another one, and stood at the bar for 20 minutes. He never waited on her, but waited on someone else who walked up next to her. Disappointingly, it was a terrible experience. Only a few folks were there chatting with the owner and workers when I got there and it's clear they were long time customers. The owner notified me it was a limited menu for the lunch hour; burger and fries. Limited, but not disappointing in the least. Nothing could be further from the truth. On a Friday night, an obvious pair of the only outsiders present, ate great food, enjoyed phenomenal service, and witnessed one of the most authentic expressions of community, friends, and family we've ever experienced.
