Bojangles — Restaurant in Powell

I don't care for this location at all, and I have been to almost every location in Knoxville. It's a toss up which is worse, though...this one, or the one on Broadway in the Fountain City area. The crew, every time I come through there, and this is every Thurs as my work schedule puts me there those days, is just as unfriendly as all get out! The managers, the rest of the crew...all of them are just either dry as toast, give attitude or are just downright unfriendly! Also, this one is NOTORIOUSLY understaffed every time. I come in, and Im forced to wait several minutes to get my order taken. When you only get 30 mins for lunch, that matters. Like, I get it, your job sucks sometimes...join the crowd. All the same, it's no reason to make me hate my lunch every Thurs, and it really is about my only cheap option for lunch if you're ever in the Karns area in Knoxville. There is just this, quite literally, and a Subway...and I HATE Subway. 😂 Anyways, the food isn't usually anything to write home about either. Whether it's been sitting under a heat lamp too long, or it's the dirty rice I always get being overcooked to the point of dehydration. Now, don't get me wrong, when the food is fresh and cooked correctly, it's amazing for fast food. Its reason I keep going, that and the lack of anything else out there, tbh. That said, it seems these days to be rare catching them on the good days. Like, even if you can't ALWAYS provide the very best quality of food, fine. I would give "0" stars if i could. This bojangles has terrible service and food. Every time I come here to this location, it is alway something negative. Either they are out of bone in chicken which is ridiculous in itself. I am always served old, cold, hard as a rock, and bad tasting food at this location. I have never reviewed this place, though I should have already, but I tried it one last time today, and waited 15 min at the window for a chicken biscuit and take a bite and the chicken is old and hard as a rock. It's like they gave me a chicken biscuit from early in the morning that sat there all day until they served me with it at 3:00 pm. If you do not want to cook fresh food and give customers biscuits that actually are fresh and have not sat there for over 8 hours, then don't sell all day breakfast. Disgusting is all I can say and crazy to think we were waiting 15 minutes for our order, thinking that they were just making food fresh which was perfectly fine for us, just to sit and wait that long for old, cold, and nasty food.
