We absolute love Jamaican food and was thrilled knowing that Gonzales opened a new restaurant. We decided to come in and try it. We ordered the Oxtails with rice and peas and cabbage, Jerk Chicken with rice and peas and cabbage, a beef patty, plantains and coco bread.
EVERYTHING was cooked great and seasoned well! The Oxtails were fabulous and the jerk chicken was just as great!
The lady who took our order was very nice and professional along with the cook that even brought out our food. He wanted to make sure we were enjoying the food :) They both checked on us a couple times while we were there to make sure we didn’t need anything.
Great service, great atmosphere and delicious food-we will be back for more. ...

We waited thirty minutes to get the fried plantains and chicken and vegetable patties. The vegetable pattie tasted like a cold chicken pot pie. The only thing that was pleasant was the drinks. But I would have liked it if I had been offered a cup of ice. Probably...
