Hutch's Cafe — Restaurant in Presho

We were on our way across the state on a road trip, and Hutch’s caught our attention by being literally the first exit after deciding to stop for lunch (a high honor, to be sure).

I had a burger and my wife had a country fried steak. Both meals were perfect and quick. In particular, my wife enjoyed the dressing on her salad, which seemed like a customized dressing similar to French. My burger was made well and a good deal.

I can’t say for certain if we’ll ever end up here again, but if you’re looking for a good quick roadside...

11 years ago, this exact day, I was coming back across the United States from Seattle to New York, after retiring from the U.S. Navy, and had a wonderful steak meal with homecut fries, a salad, and unlimited coffee. It was a much needed break for the drive, and the food was oh so wonderful! I took a photo of it and posted it to my Facebook friends. The price that day was $8.99... A older diner the kind that is good at making food . My wife and daughter really liked their meals . Chicken strips and some other chicken dish . I got a hot beef sandwich . I liked the meat potatoes but the gravy just wasn’t as good . Don’t know if it’s homemade or store bought . But it just had a different taste. It was edible but I don’t think I’d order it again .
