Came to buy takeout to celebrate an exciting event for my family so i called ahead and told them i wanted the BIG STEAK. The person asked if i could come by and look at a menu to finish my order (the person who i spoke with acted like it was a problem that i didn't have the menu memorized and they definitely didn't want to read the other steaks/burgers to me on the phone. I did know the types of steaks...(New york strip, bone-in ribeye ect....) already said i wanted the huge one made for 2). Hated to have to sit there and wait hence why i called but i did have to drive to pick it up, so i drove there. I became even more hungry smelling the lovely food while i msgd the family as they waited at home anxiously for my return. At first i was given a menu by a hostess. I looked over the menu for about 5-7min, i completed my order and sat near the hostess stand. About 5-10min later someone (she was nice about it) came out and told they were out of the big steak and something else i ordered (think it was the bone-in steak or tbone, ribeye.???), i glazed over because i spent all that time (on the phone, driving, sitting) with them knowing what i was originally driving to their business for...(The big steak they were out of!!).... So, i drove back home, loaded up the family (they had been waiting for an hour by now) and took my family to another unnamed steakhouse in Decatur. I had an unfortunate experience and hate this happened at the closest steakhouse i used to frequent years ago regularly. I hope your experience is better. Call ahead for the BIG steak and get them to ask the kitchen. Maybe we will try again one day. Rather not have to wonder if i can get what i want when i go out to eat. I remember it used to be pretty good, you just pass the place before you...

Well yesterday evening I was sitting in JW steakhouse in Priceville Al and witnessed a server totally humiliate two older women all because one of the ladies was upset about her food her steak was to hard and so was her brussel sprouts and instead of the server offering to have it remade she told the lady to be quiet cause other people were eating she had a right to express her feelings and even after she was treated so bad she still paid for the plate then the other lady goes up to pay for her food and even offers an apology and the server says to this lady loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear and I quote " yeah the girls remember y'all from the last time you were here trying to run out on your bill that little lady just dropped her head totally humiliated well I seen them outside and I asked if they were alright and the lady that checked out last said the last time they were here was months ago and they were having problems using there card so they went right next door to the bank got the money came right back and paid. Whomever this server is that works at a bank cause she let all of know that when the first lady counted her money you should be ashamed of yourself you definitely shouldn't work with the public and to the two ladies that were with their grandbabies I am so sorry I will never enter that restaurant again and I will let everyone know what I witnessed and I see so many people at my job see I work at a hotel and I'm always asked where is a good place to eat your establishment will definitely be one I tell...

I ordered the Wyoming ribeye and the salad bar. The steak came out cooked close to well done, although I ordered medium. I didn't say anything because I can't stand the idea of wasting food. My waitress, Virginia saw it almost immediately and said that she'd go get them to remake it. When the new steak came, it was cooked to perfection. I'm not going to lie and say that it was the best steak I've ever eaten, but it was really good. The salad bar had alot of choices, and it was fresh. I opted for the salad bar instead of any of the side items, so I can't offer an opinion on them. I can, however, comment on the service I received. It was phenomenal! I never drank more than half my water before it was topped off. Virginia, my waitress, was very attentive and polite. Every employee I spoke to was very nice. I made it a point to ask for the owner/manager to comment on the great service. The owner's sister was running the restaurant, so I told her about my experience. She was very nice and said that she'd forward the info to her sister. I highly recommend visiting here if you're in the area. I definitely will if...

I would describe this as a family style steakhouse with pricing more in line with a little more upscale restaurant. We arrived early evening and were seated quickly. Staff was very friendly, but table service was a little slow. I ordered Salmon and my wife ordered beef tips. We paid the $3 upcharge to get a salad (one pass) with our meals. I would say the salad was the highlight of the meal. The ingredients were very fresh and well chilled. The dressings were delicious. The ingredients for the main course were good quality, but the execution on the prep and cooking didn't quiet measure up. My salmon was a little over cooked (not the medium I asked for), and the rice pilaf had hard crunchy bits. The desserts are like what you aunt used to bring to family gatherings and are pretty tasty! We enjoyed our dinner, but tonight it did not measure up to a good value experience. Maybe pandemic impacts on staffing is a contributing factor. Cost for two without alcohol plus tip was $72.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and our meals were very good. My friends steak was overcooked (ordered MR), but they promptly replaced it. Still slightly over cooked for MR but much much better. They have a very nice salad bar with lots of toppings and some side dishes. All ingredients seemed fresh and plentiful. I ordered pork chops that were cooked perfectly and very very tasty. Nice seasoning, thick-cut & very tender. Portions were very large and prices were very good. Lots of ribeye choices here, mostly difference in size, but some are season differently. Would definitely return...

Overall good experience. I got the all you can eat salad bar for $8.00. Honey got the Wyoming Ribeye, baked potato, and Mac & cheese. Plus we got the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. The service was great but we went right at 4PM when they opened. It got very busy not long after. They even have an outside area if you would rather dine outside. Note: you may want to make sure to bring cash because they charge a 3% charge for cards.
