Southern Maryland, we spent some time today at @Mrs. Moos Corner in Prince Frederick and wanted to share what they’ve publicly shared with the community. Mrs. Moo’s Corner Market began as a small-town dream on a family farm. What started with ice cream grew into a place built for gathering. Coffee, food, community events, and a space meant to feel like home. They named the market after their mom, Mrs. Moo, because family has always been at the heart of what they do. Like many family-owned businesses, the past few years have been especially hard. Rising costs, tough seasons, and the realities of running a small farm stand have brought them to a point they never expected. They’ve shared openly that without increased community support, they may be forced to close. There are a few ways people have been supporting: • Visiting and purchasing food or drinks • Buying gift cards • Donating through the GoFundMe they shared • Sharing their posts and spreading the word Mrs. Moo’s Corner Market is located in Prince Frederick, Maryland, and has long been a place centered on family, connection, and community. We came out today to show support and help amplify their message. If you’re local, consider stopping by or sharing this with someone who loves supporting small businesses. And if you’ve been here before, feel free to share your favorite memory in the comments. I just know Calvert County is going to show up and save this small business! #southernmaryland #SmallBusiness #familyowned #farmstand #communitysupport

i was trying to get ice cream from y’all for me and my mom at the jakes produce event on sunday around 4. initially i ordered a caramel crumble large milkshake and a red raspberry cheesecake ice cream from the flavors that say ARE available. the girl said they were out of the caramel so i ask ok then what flavors do you have (if the ones you put out you’re saying you’re out of) she slowly points to the flavors and says “all of those except for caramel crumble” with an attitude. right right but it doesn’t end there. i order a vanilla milkshake instead and I wait for 20 minutes for them not to give me my order and to hand out other orders of people that were behind me…..right so then i go up to her and ask if i can just have my money back bc i never got my order and she’s says “what did you get” girl you gave my order to two different people. so i told her what i got and she was talking to her co worker and she then said “well i handed it out and no one said anything”. while you’re the one taking orders, your job is to keep track of who gets what and to hand them out to the correct people. why am i the one keeping track for you. never did i receive an apology or an offer to remake it. if anything, i recommend to start taking names or maybe giving out numbers. when everyone is standing around the window to either wait for their order or to start their order, that’s how things start getting messy cause random people will start reaching for an order that isn’t theirs. unpleasant experience for sure. i work in customer service as well and i would never even think of responding like that. you also don’t have to know much about customer service to realize what you said and how you said it was wrong. the thing about not crossing off the caramel crumble isn’t a big deal. i understand maybe you didn’t have time to cross it off but why the attitude?? but thanks for giving my...

I really wanted to give this place a full 5 stars because the service was great and the place is beautiful but I bought multiple cold desserts that were labeled as “cheesecake” and they tasted just like jello pudding pies with store bought pie crust or just shredded graham cracker dust. The lemon “cheesecake” was just lemon pudding and blended grahm cracker dust, it also had no lemon filling all throughout the pie, the non cheesecake pudding was only smeared on the sides to appear as if it had the lemon filling all throughout it but as you can see in the picture it was 90% cool whip. The oreo “cheesecake” we bought was good but yet again it was not cheesecake , there is not a spec of cream cheese in any of these pies. The oreo cheesecake tasted like a jello oreo pudding mix with a store bought crust and a ton of cool whip. I would have been fine with all this if the deserts were labeled as they should have been (which was pudding or pie), my family was very disappointed to find out what we got had no cheesecake in any of it, even though what we bought was advertised as cheesecake. We also got ice cream, it was good but my ice cream was a little freezer burnt, i had tiny bits of ice all throughout mine, i got the pumpkin cheesecake icecream (which actually had cheesecake thankfully). I would definitely go here again for the ice cream in hopes this time it is not freezer burnt since the...

Today we decided to take the family and try somewhere new (to us!), so we took a ride, (about 45 minutes to an hour from home!) And came to Mrs Moos! They are very friendly and helpful, however extremely busy!! Which is good for business but not so much when you have 3 impatient kids! Dont worry thats nothing new to us! We're working on teaching them patience! And the line to order moved fairly quickly especially considering the number of people waiting! The 30 minute wait for the order was a little long!

If you havent been I recommend you try them out! We missed out on a few flavors due to the abundance of guest, but thats okay! Just means we will have to plan to stop the next time we are up this way!

Over all this is definitely a nice place to stop for a cool treat on a hot day! The staff is super! Friendly and polite even under pressure!

Oh and the ice cream?! Well of course it was yummy to and well worth the drive the check out somewhere new (to us!)!!

In short, make the drive and give them a try! But be sure to bring your patience! My only complaint (and Im not really complaining, rather being honest in my review!) was the wait, we were told 30 minutes but it was definitely a little longer than that! Almost an hour ( because of how...
