Does the King of tenderloins reside at the Palace? I stopped by The Palace Cafe in Princeton Indiana to give their tenderloin a try. #fyp #foryoupage #foodreview #restaurantreview #tenderloins

This is an old school diner place that focuses on breakfast and they do it well. Set in the square of downtown Princeton, The Palace Cafe offers that retro fell of a 50's 60's diner where the food is made from quality ingredients and cooked to order. You can expect your food to be hot and your service to be warm and friendly. The prices on their meal are actually some of the best I have seen and you can get your belly extremely full for a price that is not going to hit the pocket book. I am a vast fan of eggs cooked almost any style so I felt the need to try them out scrambled and sunny side up. Both cooked to perfection in my book while the sausage patty was delicious and thick. If you are in the area I recommend checking this place out. If you live in Princeton then you already know. Tip: have your qr scanner ready to go to access a hands free digital menu. Great idea during these trying times.

The Palace is an excellent little establishment that has a unique feel that captures the real feel of a "retro" diner. It is a shotgun style building, so seating capacity is a bit limited with the emphasis really being on the bar side of things. The cheeseburger I got was really quite tasty, and the speed wasn't too terrible, though a little on the slower side. Expect around a 20-30 minute wait time is what we found out. Our waitress was a little absent from us, but we were sitting a table and not at the bar where it seems the focus is mainly at. Overall a cool atmosphere and decent food for a mom and pop store. I would go back if I was looking for a small place to eat at in the area.

After your restaurant being highly recommend. We gave it a try and was so sorry disappointed. I called around 8:20 after viewing several websites. Everything looked so good untill I called to place an order. I was told that there was no mashed potatoes for the Wellington, that they had already been dumped. I asked if the waffle fries could be substituted and was told that was not possible. I ordered 3 beef Wellingtos 3 waffle fries and 3 coleslaw. The total for our order came to $41. And change. When we got home we found out there was no gravy. A beef Wellington is not a beef Wellington without gravy. The fries were ok the slaw was good. I am so dissatisfied I don't think I will ever order from you again!!!!! It was a hard and expensive lesson...
