Three 33 — Restaurant in Princeton

Wanted a spot on the river for dinner and found this spot via Google. Sat upstairs at a window table but couldn’t sit outside due to rain. Our server did the job, but lacked in the friendliness department. You never know what’s going on, so giving her the benefit of the doubt that today was maybe not her day!

We started with the Bacon Cheddar Dip - delicious! Was served room temp but we agreed it would have been even better warm & bubbly! Husband had the breakfast smash burger and one daughter had the California burger - both said they were very tasty and filling! I had the hot chicken sandwich - so good! Loved the crispy breading and bun, hot honey and the creamy slaw really calmed down the heat. Fries were hot and crispy. Other daughter had the gourmet grilled cheese. Looked good but was disappointing because it only had a small portion of cheese and didn’t melt enough to keep the slices of bread together.

Decor was minimal and basic - but the views are what you’re there for!

All in all - good spot but would probably try another spot...

searching for water , rebirth , i went to three 33 twice, knowing it would be close to the water i wanted to wade into — both times i had a pleasurable dining experience. the first time, i ordered the fish and chips. v tasty. exactly what i was expecting. next , i ordered the gourmet grilled cheese . v comforting . the staff working is very nice and welcoming . if you ever find yourself in the vast land of Princeton , Iowa , and you too have a strange fascination with threes, or water , or searching for people who will never care , please go visit this nice place —

Right on the Mississippi River with beautiful views of the river from all areas of the restaurant. Our hostess was so nice and sat us immediately. And told us the specials. Our waitress was so friendly and wonderful. She checked on us often to make sure we were doing good and to see how our food was. Their cheese curds were delicious and breaded so tasty. I got the adult grilled cheese and for an extra $1.25 i got a burger party which I attached a photo. This smash burger was so delicious and flavourful. Oh the cheese and bacon were fantastic and don't get me on the bread it was perfect. And the fries were on point

Both owners even came and check on us and introduced themselves.
