Aviator Coffee is a wonderful addition to the Westchester community because of it quality drinks, delicious, donuts, and welcoming staff.
We saw a lot of advertisements about aviator in the last few weeks, and decided to check it out as a family. We were struck by the different seating areas⌠Couches, fireplace, tables and chairs, bench with tables. There was a place for having long conversations, workspace, Having a little meal. Besides that there decor was interesting⌠Fireplace, plants, different, sealing materials. It was nice that the ordering area did not take over the entire place and there was actually lots of places to sit.
Besides the decor, they have amazing hot chocolate for the non-coffee drinkers (me) among us, very delightful coffee according to my loved one, and stellar bakery items according to our kids. We havenât tried anything ourselves but the bakery items look spectacular and sourced from a local vendor.
Finally given the four times or so that weâve been to aviator, the staff has always been very welcoming and helpful. Theyâve walked me through how to access their app and provided quality drinks⌠Consistently...
Read moreI looked forward to visiting this new coffee shop, but I was highly disappointed. My order was prepared wrong, and my food was bland and overcooked. I have never thrown away a Croissants/egg/cheese sandwich, before. It looked and tasted as though the egg was precooked and later microwaved for warming. It felt and looked as though pieces of wax paper was inside the egg or cheese. Making it difficult to chew. The egg was overcooked, bland and dry. Eventhough the cheese was cold, it was somehow plastered to the egg. It was unappetizing, so I immediately threw the egg and cheese in the trash. The Croissant, which was toasted perfectly, was also difficult to chew as I pulled and unwrapped it with my teeth. What a sight! The coffee had a strange taste, I assumed it was my mouthwashed residue, but I never experienced it before so, Im trying to be kind. The strange taste lasted throughout the consumption. The coffee's caffeine level is good. The place is small, but the atmosphere is inviting. Visually pleasant...
Read moreI Drive past this place often and today I decided to give it a try. I LOVE supporting small businesses and trying new coffee shops!
Ordered a medium (16oz) black coffee and the ham, egg, and Swiss breakfast sandwich and the total was twelve dollars. Once I got to work I was disappointed that the croissant wasnât a normal size croissant but one of those little minis. There was a lot of egg and ham, however I couldnât find any SwissâŚor the bread was so small that the cheese was even smaller, but it was beyond salty! Had to down a bottle of water afterwards. The portion is not enough to share. I wouldnât mind spending a little more for a normal sized croissant. Seven dollars for the mini is not worth itâŚfor me.
Unfortunately there were no pastries. I was the first customer at 6:35am.
The coffee is good. Itâs smooth and no bitter or burnt taste.
The seating area is very cute with a couple couches and a...
