Whenever I try a restaurant, I will go a few times. The first time my family and myself went, we had the buffalo wings and they were good, so we decide to keep ordering them over time.
The second time we went, they forgot to put the order in because they didn’t have the fryers on at the right time and we waited an extra 15 minutes, but the food was great. We didn’t mind the wait, we get it that things happen.
The third time, I placed the order online. When I arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes later, the estimated time of completion, they said there was no order in for myself. So I asked are you sure? I then showed them my confirmation number and they said oh! We didn’t see your order in the system. I said okay, not a problem, how long will the wait be? They said 25 minutes. I said okay, I’ll be back in 20 minutes. I had no problem with the wait and returned 15 minutes later because I had received a text of my order completion.
Upon arrival the order was ready and I asked if I could have some sides of ranch in compensation for the wait. The cashier said okay let me fill some containers. I said not a problem, thank you. So the cashier goes to fill the ranch and a women from the back comes forward and asks if I needed some help. I said I’m just waiting for the cashier to fill some ranch containers for myself. She then says to herself, you know they normally charge for the ranch. I replied to her, that’s no problem at all, I don’t mind paying for the ranch. She then walks back and tells the cashier to make sure that I get charged for the ranch. The cashier comes up and I tell her that I don’t mind paying for the ranch, but I appreciate you trying. I then pay the $3 for the 3 small ranches.
Upon arrival home, which is 3 minutes from the restaurant, my family and myself pray and then begin to try the buffalo wings. Immediately we all look at each other grossed out. These weren’t the same quality wings as before. They were soggy, cold and not good quality at all. It was very disappointing eating even one of these wings and we ordered 24. I had one issue, I ordered 2 egg rolls and when passing the plate from the server to the person at the table 1 fail. I told them I didn't want a refund I just wanted another one. Ms. Marry said ok. But then the owner came back and said I rolled the camera back in seen u drop it after the server gave it to u. Now remind u the server was still at the table and he picked it up off the floor when it happen. The point is I never left the restaurant and came back and said it fail I was dining in. I never said it was the waiter fault or my fault. But for you to roll the camera back for an egg roll that was only $5 is crazy to me. The owner attitude was bad and she was confrontational Went on to say it be your own kind "black people" that lie in say something to get they money back. Moral of the story she wanted me to pay for another one. If I was downtown at a 5 star restaurant this would have never happen. I ordered the fried chicken wing dinner the wing dinner came in four but I wanted six and instead of her telling me she will charge everything separately she overcharged me i didn't trip because it was what i wanted and that was the only way to get it. I paid and waited for my food ate it in my car and the chicken was flavorless, the mac and cheese didn't taste like cheese was in it, the greens tasted like canned Glory greens sub par and the yams were mushy. I was willing to deal with everything except the mac so I took it back and asked for something else and the owner said with an attitude no refunds or exchanges so I threw most of the food in the trash where it belongs.
