Fredo's Vegan Tacos — Restaurant in Prunedale

The staff is friendly, food is amazing, price is perfect and they are in my small town. They are passionate and bring vegan food to the masses. When I go there I can tell non-vegans are getting their first taste of how good the food can be. Definitely changes perspectives. I have a lot of non vegan friends who have salivated at my praise for the spot and tried it and loved it. Now they are regulars. Great to see people enjoy plant based food but more importantly go back because they liked it soo much. There are lots of Mexican food spots. But they would choose this over the others. Speaks a lot about how good vegan food can be. Staff is super friendly and always want to chat and the price is just right. I support them anytime I can.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted a vegan taco truck seemingly in the middle of nowhere. I thought it was a mirage! But one bite, told me it was a dream come true. Not only do the tacos look like street food straight out of Mexico City, but the taste is amazing. The al pastor has the perfect balance of sweet (pineapple) and heat, with an unctuous bite. The asada are classic with crunchy onion-cilantro relish. For a super chewy, meaty experience, do not miss the mushroom tacos, with some nice caramelized onion strips. And, finally, the chorizo tacos are tasty AF, especially piled high with pickled onions and radish. The salsas are great, and while eating in a parking lot is not everyone's cup of Mexican hot chocolate, it adds to the charm of a genuine taco truck experience. This was my second visit and can't wait...

Vegan/Gluten Free Taco Lovers, Stop Scrolling. You’ve Found the Holy Grail. 🌮🔥

We rolled up thinking we’d just grab a quick bite… and ended up in a full-on asada awakening. 😳 Ordered 10 asada tacos (don’t judge us) — and every single one was straight 🔥🔥🔥. Juicy, smoky, perfectly seasoned… like they were grilled by angels who moonlight as pitmasters.

By taco #3 we were making eye contact like, “Are you tasting what I’m tasting?” By taco #8 we were questioning every life decision that led us to not find this place sooner.

If your taste buds need therapy, this is the spot. If you’re on a diet… sorry, you’re about to relapse. 😂
