We wanted something close to I-25 on our way north, and this certainly qualifies. There was limited parking as the place was PACKED. We walked into a wall of sound and happy drinkers on a Sunday at noon. I ordered a beef and bean burrito with green chili, and it was just OK. It all lacked flavor. I asked if they had some hot sauce and it wasn't an option. The beef needed some seasoning - chopped chilis, chili powder, more salt and pepper, something. The green chili was also not great. I was looking for some actual green chilis in there. If they were, they were not strong flavored. There was a side of something that looked like Spanish spagetti. It was an odd addition that I didn't have room for anyhow.
My guest had the all you can eat spagetti, and declared it was "fine". We had to ask for more sauce as there almost none in the first bowl, but it was pretty tasty. There was a meatball (pretty darn good) and a little piece of sausage. (Not bad) The server asked us if she wanted more and she said no thanks, but her son would love some to go. Usually "all you can eat" offers don't include to go, but he brought us a brand new bowl in a to go container - WOW!
The food came out fast and service was amazing as he came by several times to check on us and brought refills and anything asked for, quickly. The decor is small town bar, and atmoshpere is loud. If you're looking for a quiet spot for date night, this isn't it. They had the juke box turned up way too loud. Get a real sound system that doesn't boom like a cheap 70's stereo.
Value was amazing at $35 for two including tax, tip, a soda and a beer. I think if you wanted a place to tip back a few beers and have some bar food, it would be...

Walking into this bar is like stepping into a time machine that only goes to “Good Times.” The décor is a delightful mix of rustic charm and “Did I really just see that on eBay?” treasures. I half-expected to find a talking deer head giving me life advice!
Now, let’s talk about the beer. They have more taps than I have shoes, and trust me, I have a lot of shoes. The bartender must have a PhD in pouring because every pint is perfectly crafted. I ordered a “Barrel-Aged Bliss” and it was so good I almost proposed to it.
The food? Oh boy! If you’re on a diet, just take a deep breath and forget about it. The burgers are so juicy that I’m convinced they’re actually running marathons in the back before they hit the grill. And the fries? Let’s just say they should be nominated for an Oscar for "Best Supporting Side Dish."
I went in for a casual dinner and ended up making friends with a guy named Jeremy who claimed he was the undefeated champion of beer pong. Spoiler alert: he wasn't.
In conclusion, if you want a place that serves great food, cold drinks, and an atmosphere that feels like a big, cozy hug, head to the Beer Barrel. Just be prepared to leave with a full belly, a smile on your face, and possibly a new best friend named...
Read moreI can't give a review about the food because we didn't get that far. I had never been to this establishment. I belong to a women's group so about 10 of us decided to go to lunch here because it was recommended. My first impression driving up was it was very dark looking, with a lot of black. Then going inside it looked like most any "dive" bar and dark inside, too. The largest table in the small bar/grill could not accommodate us all at one table. Someone in the group asked if we could pull over a small table (that seats 4) to join with the large table and were told NO. So one of the ladies pulled two chairs over from that table to our larger table so we could all squeeze in and sit together. Apparently someone with management came over and told us in not a nice tone to "please stop taking chairs." After an exchange between him and another lady as to the lack of availability to anyone sitting at the table whether by two of the ladies or taking two chairs we decided to leave. We were taken aback by their behavior and the hostility toward us made us feel very unwelcomed and that they did not want us...
