I went in for kneecaps, as i do very often, and was disappointed to see three were only 17 in the case. I had brought a friend with me to each purchase a dozen kneecaps. I asked the very polite young lady behind the counter if there were any more kneecaps available, there were not. I asked that three remaining 17 kneecaps be split into two boxes, 9 and 8. I was informed that there would be a $1 surcharge per box because they would have less than 10 donuts in them, other wise she'd have to BAG the kneecaps... First of all, how are you not able to have enough kneecaps available at noon on a Friday? Secondly, a dollar per box? That's a bit ridiculous. My now wife and I engaged Smurawa’s to supply our wedding reception with goodies, including a wedding cake, cupcakes, and a do-it-yourself doughnut bar. The whole “best day of your life” thing aside, the doughnut bar was my favorite item out of the whole ordeal. Not the dancing, the speeches, the people…..none of that….it was the doughnuts. Everything was delicious, but the doughnut bar really put the food and beverage options over the top for our guests. Aside from having great baked goods it was also important to my wife and I to have an easy to work with vendor, and Smurawa’s is as easy as it gets.
