I love apple cinnamon filled donuts and find they only have them on the weekend. When I go to buy one I find that they're all gone. That is very frustrating. However one day on a whim I was in the Brooklyn area, and found out they have apple cinnamon filled donuts all the time and I was able to buy two in the middle of the day in the middle of the week. That made my day. I'm not particularly fond of the Putnam Dunkin' Donuts. The last time I went in they didn't have what I was looking for. And I live in Woodstock and Brooklyn is a hike to get to sometimes. But I will make the trip because I want the apple cinnamon donuts. You should have them all the time in the Putnam store. If they go that fast then that shows you people love them.
Another post about Wednesday the 22 of November. I decided to stop at the same dunkin' donuts on Woodstock avenue on the way home. There was such a very long line to the outdoor window, I thought I would get faster service going inside since I was tired from my day's activities. I get inside and there's no one by the counter. So I wait and wait and wait, about 3 minutes goes by and I said hello hello. Then the man who is servicing the window outside yelled at me and said I will be there in a moment. Can you imagine somebody yelling at you a customer. And why was there only one or two people. I will never ever go back to that one again. This is not the first time...
Read moreThis place is an absolute joke. What once used to house a Baskin Robbins and make donuts for the area is just a shell of it's former self. On a daily basis the facility is out of items that Dunkin's has advertised. Today, for example, they were out of crunch donuts, jelly sticks, strawberry refreshers, sweet bacon sandwiches, sourdough for sandwiches. At that point we left as it became an exercise in stupidity to try and guess what they actually had on hand. This also was at 8 am, so please don't think and extended day of busy service is a problem this is purely lack of stock. I don't find this to be an issue of everyday employees either. This crew shows up and does the best with what they have. This is a management and upper management issue.
Several times I have shown up to find a line around the building and only 1 person working in the store. Just down the road at a smaller Dunkin's owned by a different company, 5 people were on hand. This is a Mass based company with a CT store that they seemingly don't care about. That doesn't matter though as they get their money and the only people it affects negatively are the customers, and who cares...
Read moreThis Dunkin is literally the WORSE in Putnam, CT. My mother and I had the worse experience ever. It's like they hire anybody. My mom and I went to get some food and coffee for our trip. We went to the window to pay, and this white women with braids and a shaved head with some hair on it, gave us no attention as customers, just dry talk and attitude. We payed and waited. I saw another worker making the food and she dropped the food and picked it up with the gloves. She did not change her gloves, and continued to touch other food. I told the rude women to tell her to change her gloves, and the rude women gave me attitude and told the women to change her gloves. She did the, and then the rude women started to help the women make food with no gloves on. Then she puts gloves on 3 minutes after. I addressed her and told her why didn't you put on gloves before making other peoples food. This thug acted like she was going to fight me and giving me all this attitude. With Covid-19 going around, and her not wearing gloves this was is beyond nasty. I'm never going to this particular...
