Sook's Place — Restaurant in Pyote

Sweet Lordt! The food coming out of this place is nothing short of heaven sent. This place is an oasis in the barren food desert of Pyote, TX. While Sook's is a bit pricey, she more than makes up for it in taste and portion sizes. I ordered the pork chops special one time. I'm a big dude, but when I opened my plate and saw 3 porkchops, I was thinking to myself "who gonna eat all this food?!?" Good thing my kids like porkchops because they bailed me out that day. I ordered cheese burger combos with bacon, the bacon was extra charge but was well worth it, this place is reasonable for the area and delicious. The burgers are huge, patties are about a pound and you can easily eat half be full and save the other half. This is the perfect place to go especially if you will be stuck on an oil rig for a while. Great customer service! The owner Sook was very welcoming. I ordered pancakes three eggs and sausage. The food was very good. She let me know that I could call ahead order and this is helpful because I’m a truck driver and the pilot is about 3/4 of a mile down the street. There’s plenty of room to park the truck next-door to the restaurant which makes it easy to pick up your food. I wish I was here during lunch or dinner because the burgers look amazing.
