I want to start by saying that I really do love this coffee shop and I recommend all coffee lovers to try this place out. They have the best espresso in Branch County and I won’t get my coffee fix from anywhere else. The shop is cozy and clean. Most of the staff seem to know their stuff and they’ve all been very professional and friendly. It’s one of the most welcoming coffee shops I’ve ever been to, for sure. They sell Yoder’s cinnamon rolls and they’re sooooo good! 10/10 highly recommend. If my review was based solely off of what I’ve said so far, I’d give them 5 stars across the board. Unfortunately tho, I tried their breakfast this morning and wish I hadn’t. I don’t think anyone should pay $8.50 for the bagel sandwich I received this morning and hopefully these photos will help prevent others from feeling as disappointed as I do. My “everything” bagel had barely “anything” on it, meaning it was extremely hard to tell it was an everything bagel, it looked and tasted more like a plain bagel with a very thin layer of cream cheese on it. I know no one asked for my 2 cents and I don’t want this to come off as if I know their business better than they do, because I don’t, but if I were to be asked to give them a POSSIBLE solution to prevent this from happening in the future, I would suggest posting their food menu on a blackboard, with prices clearly written out, and where it’s easy to read. The drink menu would be a perfect example of this if the prices were listed. A bonus would be if you had the menus & prices on your website as well so it’s easy to find! I work in Coldwater and we order from you quite a bit and one thing we’ve all mentioned is wishing we could see a full menu so we know beforehand how much our orders are gonna cost and I know some of my coworkers have wanted to order food and didn’t because they didn’t see any prices listed. On a positive note, I absolutely love: -the hand written messages on every single cup. -the miniature Jesus keychains you sell. (My coworker talks about the ones she got from you quite often.) -how clean the entire shop is. -the sign above your bathroom sink. -you put a photo on your website that shows exactly what a drink is made up of, so people can actually see what the difference is between a latte and a cappuccino, etc.

I absolutely loved my first visit to Refuge Coffee a few days ago. Dawn and Zoe whom immediately welcomed me were very lovely. I ordered a caramel latte and very much enjoyed it. I’m a former barista and I can very easily admit that the espresso did not disappoint. Definitely recommend a visit. Update: A frequent visiter now. The caramel frappe, lattes and breakfast bagel is delicious. My usual morning order now. Also, the seasonal drinks are absolutely delicious. The pictures are from a bunch of different visits.

On Point đŸ’Ș 30-sec pre-wetting pour over, brewed on a scale. Delicious coffee artisan roasted proceeds help fight human trafficking. Delicious 😋 baked goods (local and in-house) fresh! The espresso and milk was smooth and balanced. Perfect place for friends and coffee aficionados. The kind of place you’d look to Lansing or Ann Arbor for. 💎 A gem in Quincy. Must visit.

Was looking for a cup of coffee in the are, and stumbled onto this place with no prior knowledge of their establishment. So let me preface this saying it has nothing to do with their politics or religion.

The two coffees we purchased for nearly $15 with tip were quite possibly the worst coffees either of us have tasted. Somehow burnt, watery, and just didn’t taste like how one thinks coffee is supposed to. More like how you would imagine dirty rainwater to taste.

The employees were nice enough, but this was just very very...
