Don’t bother stopping here unless you’re local. No one there was friendly and we know they overcharged us because we heard someone ordering just after us. They turned us away from the grilled kebabs, which is what we really wanted. The empanadas were dry with a strong taste of old frying oil. One actually had a toothpick with in it!!!! The floor was slick with grease, and the tables were dirty. Parking is limited and located directly on the road to or from El Yunque Rainforest so it’s dangerous to park there and also full of ruts, so don’t get stuck or hit! Let me state this again, don’t eat here!!! Better to travel 20 minutes to Luquillo’s Playa Fortuna where are you’ll have plenty of parking and loads of restaurants to choose from while overlooking...

We were at this restaurant 4-8-24. Our tour guide took us here. The food was terrible, & the place was filthy. I went to use the bathroom which was also filthy & there was no toilet paper, hand soap or paper towels. I liked another reviewers suggestion to travel 20 minutes to Luquillo’s Playa Fortuna where are you’ll have plenty of parking and loads of restaurants to choose from while overlooking the ocean Later that night we received an email from our credit card bank to let us know that there were 4 attempts to use our credit card information from someone in Georgia that same evening. One charge was $290.00 at Walmart. The bank did not let any of the charges go through & they closed our account. It could be a coincidence, but it...

Normally I am a little skeptical of places that tour groups get taken to. Operators may get a kickback and tourists aren’t really given any options (looking at you, Mexico). This place, however, was really good. It is one of the few places available in the reserve but hey, it’s legit. After eating some really nice, borderline fancy food, we appreciated having some fried roadside PR classics. Everything was delish. Also grabbed a pork skewer outside. $5 but amazing. I’m from the southern US where bbq pork is a religion. This pork was well marinated and cooked to perfection. The other was great. Definitely worth a stop. I would say it’s better than typical...

This place has the best Pina Colada we tasted in Puerto Rico. Kind service as well.

Great spot to stop and refuel after a hike in El Yunque. Kebabs were delicious and freshly grilled, but be prepared to pay via Cash App if you don’t have any real cash. The “tacos” are unlike any other taco I’ve ever had, but were still good. The platano with beef was the best. It was like what a corn dog wants to be when it grows up and retires in PR. The juices were some of the most unusual and delicious. Never had cherry juice in my life, but it was fire. The tamarindo didn’t taste like any I’d had before, but it was also good. Def worth a stop.
