My family was in town from Florida and we were so excited to visit the farm and eat at the restaurant on site. I was so embarrassed at the restaurant. There were fourteen of us, after lunchtime rush and little business in the restaurant. The place was not tidy nor clean. The hostess acted like we were an inconvenience. We had to wait for a table even though we told them we could all be separated. The food took an hour to come. Drinks were not refilled, sauces were missing, some of our meals were served cold. The waitress was not attentive and had a screaming young child with her while working with the father nearby in a booth. This is the home place store. I would expect better than what we experienced. I have noticed a great deal of poor quality, service and cleanliness in the restaurants and this was the worst. I understand during tourist season it becomes more difficult but they must be staffed enough to handle the crowds. This day was during the week and not crowded. I am so disappointed that the experience was so poor and my Dad paid the bill. You all need to do better. What kind of management do you have?? We love Bob Evans and have been dedicated customers for many years. The Farm was beautiful, the folks working in the museum were so welcoming and kind. The grounds were well kept, the animals happy. Please work on improving the quality of your restaurant. It should be held to a much...

The restaurant was standard Bob Evans Restaurant motif. The food was average Bob Evans fare.

The setting located on THE Bob Evans Farm is what sets this location apart.

The grounds are spacious, the views are expansive & inviting. The Bob Evans home is very well maintained as are the grounds.

Definitely a piece of Americana that needs to be known and investigated.

A unique part of the grounds is the pioneer village. Original 19th century homes & buildings moved from various locations from throughout Ohio and reassembled/preserved here. Very important to the student of 19th century Ohio history students and...

Bob Evans is my husband's favorite breakfast spot so we thought we'd take a visit to the farm & museum. Huge disappointment. Waited an hour for our breakfast in a half empty dining area. Then I only got the crepe of my Farmhouse breakfast & when my eggs, potatoes & meat came out, it was the wrong eggs & wrong potatoes. I never got a refill on coffee. My husband never got utensils, after asking twice. All she brought was the paper placemat when the kids were almost done. So I had a crepe & my husband ate nothing. Very unpleasant employees. We didn't even stay for the museum. We headed on our way to find a...

We were traveling through to Virginia and discovered this fun little gem..we sure wished we had time to tour the property but lunch was all we had time for lunch. Our meals came fast and were good. My husband enjoyed a big bowl of cheesy potato soup and I ordered the small plate of roasted turkey and dressing. Both were a lot of food. I can't imagine what a full order would have been! They lost a star to letting customers wander in and around unmasked as well as staff with masks under nose.

The Bob Evans Restaurant and Museum is a great place to get a fairly quick bite and learning a little history as well. Located right off Hwy 35 about 1 1/2 miles off the highway near Rio Grande, Ohio. Breakfast all day. Sausage and Bacon was exceptional. The Turkey Dinner provide a Thanksgiving vibe with dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce. Staff was polite and attentive. Expect to spend 45 minutes or so for meal. Walking around outdoor exhibits can be done at your leisure.
