Choo Choo Charlie's — Restaurant in Raccoon Township

My family has ordered at Choo Choos for 20+ years. We used to love it! Now we can't even eat it. It is so greasy that we get sick. Even the salads are greasy. Also the last few times that we would order they messed up our order. So we ended up having to leave and drive down to the shop to get it fixed. The pizza is soggy with grease. Every time I would eat there I would be so sick later in the day and into the next day. The box that the pizza or calzone comes in would be soaked through with grease. We would have to put a towel under it so we didn't mess up our stuff with grease. When you cut into your calzone the grease pours out. When you take a bite more grease squirts out. I am not sure what has happened to them, but they have definitely gone down hill. We don't order there anymore. We gave a lot of chances. We will only order from Mikey's now. We live very close to Mikey's but would still drive all the way to Choo Choo's to get our food. We kept holding on out of loyalty hoping it would get better. It never did. It is also very hard to place your order. The person that answers the phone will put you on hold half way through your order. Sometimes more than once. No wonder they mess things up. But unless you like soggy pizza and food filled with grease I would suggest you go somewhere else. Sorry guys. I hope you can improve things and maybe we will...

People that have posted negatively about Charlie's must have very, very high expectations of sauce and dough because 99/100 people have nothing but good things to say about this Ma & Pop Pizzeria.. We've been returning customers for the better part of the past ten years and I can't recall not one order that we weren't satisfied with and we've placed well over a hundred of them.. Always Fast, Always Good and ALWAYS Cheaper than those cookie cutter chains that charge both arms and one leg above the knee for literal pennies worth of ingredients.. The folks claiming the prices keep raising must have ordered 11 years apart or something because that menu or the price hasn't changed in as long as I can remember and the people that I've came in contact with have been NOTHING but kind and courteous everytime we order and we're usually done eating before the quoted time even expires LOL they say about an hour and 20 minutes later I've got hot pies in my hands, what are you people talking about LMAO

I reserve that 5th Star for absolutely unbelievable experiences but if I could give them a 4.9 I would, I just don't go around passing out 5 Stars like they're free, you gotta be absolutely exceptional...

I love this place and have ordered from there for a long time. Their food is great and service as swift as can be expected! But tonight, they earned my rating and loyalty because any business can be rated highly on a good day that goes smoothly. It's an entire other ordeal when you're busy, mistakes have been made, and you need to fix it. I ordered, among other things, a steak salad for my son, who's anaphylactic allergic to dairy. I ordered it with no cheese; however when it arrived after waiting a while due to it being a busy Friday night, it had cheese all over it. With my hungry son losing his mind in the background, I called back explaining the error and that if it were me I wouldn't care, but being a dairy allergy I just can't chance it. Marshall said that he would send out a replacement immediately and apologized. The replacement came quickly and was delicious as always! When businesses take accountability for mistakes (and we all make mistakes!) and take swift actions to rectify the situation - those are the moments...
