**This is an update added in as a response to the owner's response to my original review below: I ALREADY SUBMITTED THE FEEDBACK FORM BEFORE WRITING MY GOOGLE REVIEW. So obviously you do not care to even really read your feedback surveys or you would have seen that I did the Marco's feedback survey already and also you would have taken the time to really respond. Also, re-read my entire review below again, because it wasn't just issues with the delivery, it was also issues with the pizza not being prepared correctly. Your apologies are not enough for spending my hard earned money for bad service! I will be writing to Marco's corporate as well, because this is ridiculous. If you are really the owner responding, what is your name? Really suspicious that the owner hides! ** __________ I usually do not do Google reviews but I've order from this Marcos location twice within the past 2 weeks of each other for delivery and both times had a horrible experience. On my son's birthday 2/8/2025 he wanted pizza so I ordered what he wanted for delivery. I placed  my order online, then I called to make sure everything was understood and to give special notes about the order. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very polite, I wish I remembered her name. When my order was delivered, none of the notes were followed. The delivery driver (a man don't know his name), almost dropped my order when handing it to me. He did drop some of the cheese packs, then picked it up and put it on the paper plate (that was nasty); and the plate on top was dirty as if it had been dropped. Why wasn't the plates put in a takeout bag? Why wasn't my brownies in a takeout bag as I requested? Why wasn't my boxes taped closed as I requested when I called after placing the order? I called the Marcos store immediately to let someone know about the issue and that my pizza was not as expected, but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I ordered an extra large pizza, but they did not take care in preparing my pizza because I ordered extra toppings of bacon, old world pepperoni & extra cheese. But the pizza had only extra toppings on half and the other half only had extra cheese. They were not distributed evenly on the entire pizza, because the entire pizza was supposed to have both extra toppings and extra cheese. It was obviously rushed and sloppily done. The pizza didn't taste like it was cooked all the way through and the pizza was not delivered hot.  Also, the pizza was cut into 16 slices instead of 12, which I didn't request. I was finally able to get someone on the phone about an hour later, but he was not any help, He said his name was Mark, but not sure if he was telling the truth about his name or anything he said. I asked to speak to a manager and he put me on hold, then pretended to be the manager when he came back to the phone. He sounded a lot like the same guy that delivered my pizza. I asked who was the owner and he said he couldn't tell me who the owner of that Marcos location was, which is very peculiar. Before even listening to my issue he only offered money back on the brownies, so I had to stop him because I didn't have an issue with the brownies. I told him listen to my issue before giving me a sorry offer, because I bought the brownies with a coupon. He offered no resolution and refused to put another worker or manager on the phone. The pizza was over $22 and was not what I ordered, it was horrible! My entire order was $42. That's a lot of money! The online order receipt that was sent to my email when I placed the order is attached to this review. I should have been refunded all of my money for the entire $42 order for the horrible experience on my son's birthday.

This Marco’s is terribly disappointing. My first ever order was an XL Pepperoni with extra cheese and cheese bread. The pizza had very little cheese on it, certainly not extra cheese. Similarly, the cheese bread also had very little cheese. I understand inflation is out of control and cheese is probably the highest cost ingredient but when a customer pays extra for extra cheese you should get what you pay for. I called this Marco’s after receiving the pizza. The guy’s response was “that’s how we make them” and he hung up on me.

Pizza here is delicious! The customer service I received here terrible. I was trying to get free cheese bread with my order with a coupon I received here the day prior to this post. No one could help me and the manager was clueless as well saying that she had never been on the website, and the receipt I received was incomplete. After sometime I just let it go and ordered my pizza and left. This was my second time coming here and was let down by management. Truly sad, as I really enjoyed the pizza!

Pizza here is delicious! The customer service I received here terrible. I was trying to get free cheese bread with my order with a coupon I received here the day prior to this post. I ordered at 5:59pm for delivery on Saturday 4/6/2024 and never received my food. Two hours had passed at this point after waiting. I call the store and the phone rang for a long time before someone finally answered. The young lady explained to me the delivery driver was not able to communicate with me when he called. I spoke very clear and he should have been able to understand me since he asked me where my house was and that he was on the way to my house. Then I was told my order would be redelivered in the next 15 minutes. The time was now 8:00pm. The order finally arrived at 9:00pm through DoorDash after it was supposed to be delivered by the stores driver. Ive ordered from this store in the past and never had issues with delivery. The driver always found my house. This particular driver didn’t want to do their job. I’ve worked in food service for 10 years and even was a General Manager and Ive never gave this type of customer service. Nor my staff. Whoever was the manager on duty should have sent fresh food and/ or offered a reimbursement on the order....

The location on 5621 Atlantic Avenue suite 101 Raleigh NC 27616

Hours of operations 11:00am- 10:00pm on decal of door of this location. Online it’s says 10:30- 11:00pm

I called this location at 9pm on 1/10/2022 four times and got hung up on four times. So I decided to drive up to the location to order a pie of pizza. I got up to Marcos around 9:20pm and I saw one of the two girls who were at the location standing at the door, she immediately ran towards the back and hid behind a shelf with of pans when I pulled up front of the door. They both stood there aNd watched me stand outside and did not think to provide customer service by telling me that they were at least closing early. It would have been the respectable thing to do. It’s unprofessional to have staff who are not setting gold standard for this establishment, when technically they are suppose to still be open. This experience really set a tone for how this location handles their customers. They really need to reevaluate who they are hiring and the type of image they are setting for their...
