Milonga Argentinian Bakery — Restaurant in Raleigh

I have had the pleasure of visiting this establishment on several occasions, and each visit has been exceptional. From the moment my family and I walk through the door, we are greeted by the enticing aroma of the various pastries they offer. My family enjoys exploring new flavors, and we are consistently impressed by the quality and variety available.

Given that there are no Argentinian bakeries in our local area of Nassau County, NY, I always make a point to bring home extra treats for family and friends. The staff is consistently warm and welcoming, and during our last visit, they even offered complimentary samples of several pastries. I went to check them out and get a pastry. I left with a half dozen, plus two generous slices of tiramisu and tres leches cake and a baby flan - and they were all exceedingly delicious! The tres leches cake was the best I’ve ever had. A lot of love and pride went into these goodies!! The lady at the counter was so helpful and friendly. My waistline is doomed.

Keep in mind that it’s strictly carry out - there’s no seating. (Here’s a (hopefully) helpful hint: If you want to stockpile like I do, you can revive a softened pastry in the toaster oven. The ‘dark’ setting on mine returns its flakiness and makes it taste like the morning...

The people that own it / make it/ bake it/ plate it / serve it are awesome. Everything they make is delicious. During the Christmas holidays they made Pancetta breads, i asked if they could bake one without nuts for my friend with nut allergies and they did. Then called me and let me know it was ready. The bread without nuts was so good i almost wanted to keep the other loaf all for myself…. Very un holiday of me. But thats how good their scrumptious Argentinian baked goods are.
