I recently visited this Starbucks location because the drive through line was unusually long, so I decided to go inside. Upon entering, I was greeted by one of the staff members, which was a nice start. However, my interaction with the barista who ultimately helped me, her name was Aly was very disappointing.
From the beginning, she approached me with an unwelcoming attitude, starting our interaction with a curt âWhat do you need?â rather than a standard, friendly greeting. As I tried to place my order, I felt rushed and cut off, as if I were an inconvenience. I understand this location is often busy, but thatâs no excuse for poor customer service. I wasnât even able to complete my full order because I felt so uncomfortable and to make matters worse, the part of my order that was taken ended up being incorrect.
I had ordered a White Chocolate Cream Frappuccino with no coffee, but what I received was a White Mocha Frappuccino with caramel drizzle, which includes coffee something we specifically did not want. It was frustrating and disappointing to receive something entirely different from what I asked for.
What concerned me most was what appeared to be a difference in treatment based on the color of my skin. After my interaction, I observed the same barista helping other customers who were lighter-skinned with noticeably more friendliness and attention, even asking them if theyâd like anything else, something she didnât ask me.
I donât normally support Starbucks, and after this experience, I never will again. This visit left me feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, and unfairly treated. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to ensure all customers are treated with equal...
Read moreAll the employees were awesome! My order was quick and fast. One thing is while I was studying at the table, a guy(customer) came back and started blaming one of the young employee about something. He made such a big deal out of nothing. I honestly felt bad for the young employee who got blamed and I feel bad that he had to go through that. The man (customer) also started video taping all the employees up close, it even felt like he kind of started recording the whole place/lobby, I felt very uncomfortable. But later one of the workers came to people in the lobby and apologized for the inconvenience and offered everyone in the lobby a free drink. I honestly donât know what the young employee did wrong but truly all of them are sweet and kind. They even apologized to the angry man and yet he still continued to behave that way.
The young employee who got yelled at also took my order, he was very chill and interactive. He even said to me âyou can just press âskip tip.ââ Not even asking for tips just being good to customers. An awesome guy, Iâm sorry he had to deal with that. If he made a mistake, everyone make mistakes and mistakes can be fixed especially if itâs a drink/food order. Just some customers...
Read moreThe drink was good. However, when the sun started going down and I attempted to close the shade as staff wasn't doing it, I was snapped at by one of the employees. I was told not to touch it and informed it was broken due to the high school kids that come in. My group attempted to relocate to a different spot and found that again, the shade was broken. In all 4-5 widow shades! This is unfortunate unacceptable behavior of the high school kids and entrance should be restricted because they destroyed a companies property and, in turn, affected other customers. Shame on Starbucks for not repairing the damage it shows they don't care about their other customers. And it was out of line the way the employee treated a paying adult party! In addition, I've visited this location multiple times. The kids that come in are loud and run the atmosphere and never asked to quite down or asked to leave. Instead, the store just turns the music up, making everyone's stay unenjoyable. They never seem to have enough staff as you stand around waiting to be assisted for quite some time. I'm not quite sure who the manager is because everything when asked for they are...
