California Burrito — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

This is one of the worst california burritos I've ever been to. The people arent outwardly unfriendly for the most part, there was some younger lady who gave us almost all brown guacsalsa when we asked for it as if we inconvenienced her to ask. It most definitely wasnt fresh. The food just taste dry, bland and lacking in a way other california burritos we've been to doesnt. Granted its next to a gas station an if youre looking for amazing, cook it at home or go somewhere else but for the way they're raising prices you'd think they food would atleast have some effort. Im sure the staff are just trying to get through the day as we all are so I cant really "rate" them they're doing their jobs. The inside doesnt seem dirty or hostile but it is a smaller space. Super Impressed with everything about this relatively new SPOT!!! I drove by dozens of times, but continued to fall into the ADABERTOS TRAP 🪤!

Started getting gas or pit-stopping at the AMPM that dominates the corner, and noticed they were open till 1am...

So I put them to the test, and ordered a CALIFORNIA BURRITO 🌯, which is my go-to at ADABERTOS...

Good friendly service and a super clean spot, was my first impression and the actual CALIFORNIA BURRITO 🌯 was Superior to Adabertos . . . As were my generous side orders of PINTO BEANS n Cheese, and light fluffy SPANISH RICE 🌾😋

I have been three times so far and ordered different mains every time! All excellent and of course I order the beans and rice every time! They also have OUTSTANDING Home Maid tortillas in the WEEKENDS...

This is my 2nd time being disappointed by this place on Kiefer Blvd. The first time I ordered a breakfast burrito, 2 Hispanic males came in and ordered burritos after me and they got their food before me. Today, I go through the drive thru and order menudo with hominy and wait 15 minutes for them to get the menudo together and when I get home all the way on the South side there’s hardly and meat in my menudo and no hominy. My menudo was all juice. I can’t even call to complain as they don’t have a number listed and on the receipt there’s no information. I won’t be spending my money here anymore and if your a different ethnicity, you better pay attention to the service they give you because they don’t have a problem making it obvious that you’ll have to wait for service after they take care...
