20OCT2023: The pizza itself was good. Everyone came back for seconds. I made my order at 6:03PM. It arrived at 8:14PM. That's well over two hours. It took an hour and forty minutes between when i ordered and when it was out for delivery. Sure it was a Friday evening, but here's the thing: Pizzerias have existed since 1830, and came to the U.S. in 1905. The five day work week was established in 1908. What I'm saying is, pizza shops have had 115 years to figure out that you need extra staff on Friday evenings to make sure people aren't waiting two hours for their order.
03NOV2023: Update: I tried again, thinking that the problem may have been that I used the app during their busy time, so instead I called at four instead of ordering at 6:30. They promised a 25 to 35 minute delivery time. It's been over an hour. When I call for an update, the robot voice says it will arrive at 5:08PM, even though I called at 5:14PM.
03NOV2023: Second update: customer service was no help. Called the store and they said it would be there in ten minutes so I couldn't cancel my order. That was twenty minutes ago. now my entire timeline is messed up because the call center AND the local store lied about the time. Order Pizza Hut or Little Caesars or Donato's or even Domino's - anything but the...
Read moreWe ordered a XL New York Style Crispy Cuppy Roni pizza. It's the fourth time we've ordered it. It's usually amazing (their other pizzas, not so much.). This time, we open the box to see a dry crusty looking pizza, but still give a piece to everyone (5 of us), and we all take a bite. Completely dry and disgusting. They entirely forgot the sauce, not one drop, we lifted up the cheese to make sure. We called to tell them, and the guy cussed for some reason and hung up, and then called back to tell me that they have no idea how there could be -no- sauce, and that they can only put so much sauce unless we pay for more and demanded we bring the pizza back to prove it. (We don't even have a car currently.) Everyone had already eaten a few bites from their piece and it's only an 8 piece pizza, so why would I go walk across town to bring it back for them to fondle, just for them to lie and claim there is sauce, and not have a pizza -or- money? This employee's attitude (I wish I knew his name.) has made it so I will no longer be ordering from the Ravenna Papa John's, even though we...
Read moreI love Papa Johns until I ordered from the ravenna branch, I'm originally from alliance and we used to order there weekly delivered in 30 mins piping hot and correct order. However this ravenna branch has got some work to do we ordered the other night around 8pm on a week night all we ordered was a papadia and a cookie... now I gave specific directions to make sure the cookie was still soft not crunchy well I got it burnt and not only burnt but cold and my fiances papadia had raw veggies on it they were literally still cold. And its not like they rushed the order to us or anything because it didn't show up till almost 10pm. Almost 2 hrs for those 2 things and they weren't even...
