Steaming Cup Cafe — Restaurant in Ravenswood

The food was great but the customer service could have been better- I was rushed to place my order after never have been there before, the cashier got an attitude when I asked a simple question about the coffee, and then didn't even give me my change back from my 7.15 dollar order and I paid with a 10 dollar bill. I thought about asking for the change back but then got anxiety because the cashier started chatting with a regular customer and I didn't want to interrupt. probably will not go back. I do want to thank the young lady who made my sandwich, I got a turkey and Swiss panini and it was so good, this is the only reason i didn't give a 1 star, she deserves a raise.

We stopped by there at the recommendation of Steve & Sabrina from Ravenswood Inn Bed & Breakfast, and we are so happy we listened to their recommendation. I ordered my mom the Sugar Free Brown Sugar Latte and my husband ordered a Caramel Macchiato and they both thoroughly enjoyed the taste of their drinks. The food menu was impressive, but we did not order anything since we had just finished our delicious breakfast at the inn. This cafe is adorable with a cute mural of wings where you can take a photo and an adorable seating area with a great backdrop for more photos. There are several different types of seating areas in the cafe and the entire place is nicely decorated. It seemed like a great spot to hang out with friends, or to go and get some work done remotely. The gals that worked there were very knowledgable about the menu and they were warm and welcoming. I’m only in town for the summer and didn’t discover this place until a week or two ago and I’m so disappointed I didn’t earlier! With limited (non-fried) dining establishments nearby, this place is amazing. Consistently good food, drinks, and service. The restaurant is always super clean, the sun that comes through the front windows makes it bright, and the workers are always super nice, even with how busy they are. Service is pretty quick too—when sitting down for lunch with friends, I’m in and out in less than an hour. You can tell they work really hard to make everything taste good, and I always leave with a full stomach.
