B & B Crawfish — Restaurant in Raymond

Super disappointing. I was exited to eat crawfish as it’s been a while so I thought I’d try it out. This place had a 5 star review so I thought it’d be a safe bet. I was very wrong. There was literal lake gunk mixed in with the crawfish in the bag and I spent more time wiping reeds off my hands than actually eating the crawfish. As for the actual crawfish themselves, they were all small and so over cooked that when I tried to remove the shells the meat crumbled into little mushy pieces. Some of the crawfish were super fishy too, like worse than bad seafood levels of fishy-ness. Hopefully I don’t get food poisoning or something. I wouldn’t be surprised if I did. Maybe I just came on an off day, but I would not recommend this...

I’d never really been into eating crawfish because of how tedious it is, but I must do say, BB’s crawfish is definitely worth it! Prices are affordable, Staff is friendly, food is delicious! I’ve visited maybe 10-11 times & I’ve enjoyed it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! It’s never a “hit & miss”, the staff & food have ALWAYS been AMAZING! The little elderly lady in the front, who cashes the orders, she’s SO SWEET! Always have a nice short conversation, & she’s very prompt! I've seen this place & been driving by it for years & never thought to even try it out. So this particular saturday after I got off work, I stopped by here to see exactly what they were working we with. I got my wife a half pound of shrimp, 2 corns & a sausage. We tried it out when I got home & I must say I'm definitely impressed & feeling the seasoning on the food. It has a lil spicy kick but not too much. Good & very reasonable prices. I hate I didn't get more, but at least now we know. I got this location on my to-do list & I will be stopping...
