First time visitor with friends that live nearby. What I would call a typical small town bar where the food proportions are healthy and the prices very reasonable. Had the 10oz. Prime Rib with baked potato, vegetable, and salad. Prime Rib was medium rare exactly how ordered and very tender and tasteful. Au Jus sauce was hot and not overly salty and paired well with the beef. Salad had all the normal toppings and baked potato came with sides of butter and sour cream. Tap selection was adequate and beer served in pint size glasses. It was full at upm and a little noisy but everyone was enjoying their meals and the staff was keeping up with service. Now sit down....price for the Prime Rib meal was only $13.99 for the 10oz. cut. I think the larger 14oz. cut was $18.99
If you need a private booth with candles and privacy this IS NOT your place. If you want honest good food and plenty of it for a great price then you won't be...
Read moreTerry & I dined here Sunday & enjoyed the best broasted chicken I have ever eaten. It was done just right & the meat can right off the bones. They served real mashed potatoes & the best white gravy with the chicken, along with steaming hot corn that remained hot the entire time. Even though they were so busy, our server was right there & kept our drinks full & was very pleasant. We...
